will our captain stick out his chest, get stuck in and drive us to playoffs and promotion like a true captain,or will he go through the motions having the occasional flashy game (mk dons on sky) and dissapear into the wilderness............sincerly hope ricco asked him these questions before we turned down the cash.....all eyes firmly on leven from now on.......hope he has the balls to prove the armbands not just for show

Good points, I posted similar last night!

I think he will play for a better move than Brighton! And last night has well and truly put himself in the shop window for a nice summer move; so why would he want to jeopardise that? I think this could be a win/win!

It could be sulk/sulk if he wanted to go. Which Leven we get we won't know until about 3.30 after we've played the first half hour. Hopefully keeping him will galvanise him to take the game against inferior opposition by the scruff of the neck and control it.

I won't be 3:30 tomorrow he's suspended! I hear what your saying but that would be rather stupid of him don't you think? Wouldn't help him for a move would it? and Brighton may decide to go else where and he could be screwed! If he gives it his best he knows now that he's going to get a good move and pocket quite a bit of cash as there will be no transfer fee!

Hope he proves me right

strange one this,if i was ricco,i would have demanded he told me of his plans,if he said he would stay if we went up,i would have gambled on his word.If he said he couldnt commit to his future plans next season,id have took the cash in an instant.Losing players to free transfers is something that would destroy me,especially players who havent had lengthy spells with us.
