The sooner one of the big clubs goes bust the better! Then and only then will football get the reality check it badly needs, and will hopefully go back to being a working class game it was, instead of being the corporate money fed game it is now.

I think fans of most lower league football teams would feel sorry for them. In these times of the money in football being so concentrated at the top end of the game, most realise it could easily be their club facing the same problem.

I think we all do regardless of financial situation. The thing is other clubs will take note of the situation and exploit it to the best they can and sign their players like Coyne and Edwards who have moved on to Wolves and Col U already. They are normal people like us wanting to earn an honest wage to feed and clothe themselves and their families.

I think its something that the club expected in losing there players. They face going to the wall with rumours going round saying that the players might not play incase they get injured and stopping them from signing for a new club which could spell the end for Luton quicker than expected.

Make things worse they are currently on the FA charge for last seasons transfer issues.

It will be a sad day if they do fold.

I still think we should be looking at bringing someone in from there. They do have some good players.

A ) I dont think they would want my pity
B ) Its the way lower league football goes. Its a shame but its the reality of football.
C ) I dont not feel sorry for them out of spite or anything, im just not really too bothered about it. No malice in it. I cant force myself to feel sorry for them.

Yes, I feel sorry for them, like I would any other football club (except Brighton) who were looking into the abyss. Problem is, this sort of thing is getting more and more frequent as the rich get richer and the rest face a difficult struggle for survival. The Premiership has a lot to answer for, not only in terms of finance (predjuced against fair competition) but on the general effect to English football and not least, the failure of the national side.

I'm embarrassed by the actions of those who run my club.

I think the lack of success may have much more to do with the players' lack of desire and commitment and readiness to believe their own over-inflated hype...

Looks like Bournemouth will be next club to lose 10 points

The Directors of AFC Bournemouth Football Club have lodged a notice of intention to appoint an administrator.

BDO Stoy Hayward is currently dealing with the Directors of AFC Bournemouth in an advisory capacity only. At this stage there has been no formal appointment of administrators.

The Chairman Jeff Mostyn commented that this action was taken to prevent our current negotiations being frustrated by aggressive and unhelpful creditors.

We were professionally advised to serve a Notice of Intention to appoint an Administrator which we have done.

Harford has the job. Blackwell will do a good job anywhere he goes.

i thought I heard on the radio Harford had gone to Luton?
