I'm guessing 'higher league club' will mean Championship or League One as they usually say Premership club if it's from that level.
Either way, it'll be good to see another new face in the club, especially a midfielder, just hope it doesn't stop there.

True enough. Reckon there is any chance of O'Hara coming back for a season on loan?
Surely if he is a season long loan then Rico must know plenty about him.

With O'Hara ... no chance ... edge of Spurs squad to League Two?! If it happens I'd be ecstatic ... but I'd very much doubt it.

I can see it now, all the ITV executives sat around a table coming to a decision to "put the bringing in a replacement interview" onto teletext to keep the throngs of Chesterfield fans happy.

Don't wanna pour water on any fires ... but there's nothing on the main page, nothing on BBC and nothing on Eurosport or Sky about the interview ... could it be that ITV are just using the old, bringing in replacements interview? The Eurosport site's usually really good ... but this came up yesterday, though we knew of this in the day or so after Allott moved ... hope I'm wrong, but have a funny feeling it ain't new news!

I think that article is just a copy of what rico said in the dt or on this website

Or else on a slow day for news trot out an old bit of news that didn't make it last week ... it's what Eurosport did!

Thats probably the only issue I have with loan players. Was it Hurst who couldn't play against Basingstoke last season because Sheff Utd wouldn't allow it??

If they're unsure about whether he wants to come back or not, a half season loan (like Hurst) would be organised.
Remember Jamie Burt at Carlisle - they wanted to send him back after a breach of discipline but weren't able to.
