Berry sauntered around the pitch today not once sprinting, going past players, tracking back or putting people under pressure. All in all very poor. Is this because he?s lazy or just not fit enough or both? Compared to Markandy and Dobra he just doesn?t seem at it.

Colclough looked more dangerous in five minutes than Berry did whilst on the pitch.

He seems to me to be a good finisher but he needs to show more especially when we don?t have the ball.

Give him a break. He had an off day.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

Don?t mind people having an off day but I do mind a lack of effort!

Must agree, he looks like he put a lot of muscle on pre season, maybe his cardio isn?t up to scratch, for me he is a player who needs working on more than any as he is a natural finisher and they make good money, his closing down is very poor and he needs to be more aggressive when doubling up on players to win the ball back, he isn?t really helping,, saying that there are a few players that have not imo been as fit as before( perhaps it?s the step up in class and faster game)

He categorically cannot play on the right, at least we know that now.

It took till last week against Walsall for colclough to have a good game on the right, he favours the left, it?s bizarre we have 3 predominantly right footers who all prefer the left, dobra included

I'd say off day.
Other games he's been very good, today he looked like his head wasn't in the game.
Would have hooked him earlier tbh, but he can be a danger man so Cook maybe thought leave him for the 60mins

Still think he?s miles better from the bench rather than starting.

I said just this in the match thread, but what did worry me was his lack of commitment either going forward or tracking back. Some of the balls he could have gone for he didn't, which isn't like him. I always thought that if things aren't going for you, then you put the effort in and try and make yourself a nuisance at the very least.

Basically I?m not against any player so long as they try hard and put the effort in. What is worrying for me is that with a full house against arch rivals what more incentive do you need to at least show effort and commitment. Neither of these were shown by Berry today!

He was same against Derby. Not ragging on him cos he?s having a good season, he?s a young lad prone to inconsistency.

I'm sure he'll be back to his best in the next game, hopefully 😁.

That's the way the game is played now. Most teams seem to like playing wide players so they can cut in. Colclough can go outside too as he does have a left foot.

Neil Warnock used to say every player will have a poor day with the ball but there is no excuse at all for having an off day without the ball.

Discipline and work-rate are non-negotiable.

But they?ve got to be able, if needed, to go outside too.

I thought Walsall did a proper job on Dobra last week. Push him down the line onto his left which he can?t do and once he comes inside the CH and holding mid smothered him and took the ball.

Berry and dobra seam to not be getting on today dobra didn't want to give berry the ball so he switched wings .
Dobra for me needs to pass more than trying to take every player on it as if he's trying to get a big money deal in January and leave.
Berry must be getting a tad drunk if he's not getting the ball

Spot on, and it's happened in the last couple of games in front of goal.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

I think it's, probably, simply down to his football IQ.
