I'd consider voting for them I suppose, I'd have to look into them further and check out any WEF links as Labour and Tories are full of WEF members.

The cheaper energy/lower taxes is a selling point I suppose, i don't know how many seats this party is supposed to get but it'll need quite a few to challenge whichever government is in power.

Please post more links like this.

'Cos as those likely to vote for the new NF/BNP/UKIP/'Tommy's football lads' thing are the same ones likely to vote for a tory party parroting similar rhetoric, it makes a Labour victory even more likely...

Serious question..

I clicked on his link just like you did I suppose and the first thing I see is a photo of a booklet with the wording:

  • Reform is Essential
  • Lower Taxes
  • Secure Borders
  • Cheaper Energy
  • Zero waiting lists (NHS I presume)

As a fully fledged Labour supporter, which of the points above would your party not want to see achieved?

I'd say every member of every party would wanna see them, Mark.

But are lower taxes achieved at the cost of or alongside improved public services?

Are secure borders achieved at the cost of or alongside civilised asylum measures?

Is cheaper energy achieved at the cost of or alongside protecting the planet?

And of course are zero waiting lists achieved at the cost of or alongside an NHS offering top quality care to all.

Glib 'five pledges' style bullet points are easy, however as always the devil's in the detail...

Your thoughts very much mirrored mine so I took a look.

I didn't read it all but did skim through it.

Their energy policy is a failure for me as soon as I read invest in Fracking

Their policy on securing borders seems ok, invest in border staff and adopt a stance similar to Australia. Australia was mentioned a lot.

NHS, again seems pretty much what every party is saying, invest in training more doctors and retaining nurses. They seem to be set on using private health care to reduce waiting. For example, If I cant get a Dr appt within three days, I would get to go private paid for by them.

Taxes, they explain in detail how they will raise money, its all very ambitious but they are not piling all their hopes on an Energy windfall tax.

It goes on and on.

I'm not about to sign up and join the party but what I do like (as far fetched as some of it may be) is the way they spell out exactly what their plans are.

I don't hide the fact that its something I believe your party is very, very poor at doing and I think lessons could be learned on how to present plans on policies for the important things.

UKIP we’re one policy protest organisation that tapped into the British publics euro sceptic feelings. The main uk parties didn’t. Even Hollande said Britain is like a man who goes to a wife swapping party without his wife.

Other than that they had nothing to offer and disappeared overnight

This lot are the re incarnation of ukip. It’s easy to say we want no waiting lists, low taxes, secure borders and cheap energy - jeez any party would want that wouldn’t they? But actually achieving it?

How do you provide cheap energy overnight?

How do you suddenly get rid of NHS waiting lists?

How do you suddenly have secure borders?

At the same time cutting taxes?

That talk about growth and cutting taxes to stimulate growth - sounds like a rehash of Lizz Truss and Kwasi carcrash madness 6 weeks.

Like the cut if their jib? Sounds like total nonsense to me

They’ve not costed it out, maybe it’ll all come from a windfall tax on energy companies

Was about to make a Reform thread but thought I'd bump this one.

Farage an absolute wet lettuce today on LBC, a positive rimming of Elon Musk despite him stating Farage doesn't have what it takes to lead Reform. What a manlet! Although on the flipside, he promised to fund his own enquiry if the Government don't begin another enquiry over the rape gangs, so it'll be interesting to see how that pans out.

He?s an excellent orator - I?ll give him that.
Loved his belittling of Robinson.

But he?s already bottled the legal action against Badenoch and sure as day follows night he?ll not go ahead with the enquiry

He?s also an excellent reader of the mood of the public, something very sadly lacking in Westminster

Labour not doing particularly well on any of those at the moment, I?m sure Reform would welcome disenfranchised Labour voters, those that don?t tow the party line. I could provide a link for membership!

Allegedly absent leader faces calls to be replaced from major supporter, mass councillor exodus and questions if he'll even see the next election.

Sorry, thought it was the 'Labour' thread.

Unlike the BBC and Guardian to get things wrong.
Strange this erm story came as Reform joined Liebour on 25% of the polls?

This is dishonest from the Guardian.

They failed to publish Nigel?s full statement to them.

The leader of this group of ?councillors? was suspended weeks ago by Reform for:

1) nominating candidates that failed vetting.

2) fraudulently nominating candidates with an invalid DNO certificate.

As a result of (2), several of these ?councillors? are illegitimate and new elections must be held.

The left wing media are frightened of Reform. Expect more sneers and smears from the usual sources.
