I wonder if the club has ever considered the idea of Digital Advertising around the pitch perimeter, slowly this way of advertising appears to be filtering it's way down the pyramid, just wondered if it's an extra stream the club could utilise. Mind you, I bet the boards don't come cheap, effectively you only need them to face the cameras at a match, but we are attracting more and more "live" matches at the Ground.

We are? Could no doubt be hired as a one-off every now and then, but it'd only annoy the regular perimieter advert sponsors whose signs would have to be moved or covered up. You'd risk losing a year's revenue for one game.

When you see it on TV - I thought the technology paid for by the broadcaster and not the club?
Realistically, until the cost of technology drops, I can't see how the revenue v cost would stack up.
On another front though, I thought the club were lookign to install solar PV on the roof of the South Stand?

Most of the top clubs have them these days but mainly on the side that is seen by TV cameras. I think that with the ability to sell more advertising as its changing all the time its worth the while but then they have numerous live games, all the highlights on match of the day etc so will get more. Whether us doing it with 30seconds on the Football League Show and some footage on the BBC site is worth it is another matter.
