Not quite getting it are we?
Saw the replay of the penalty when I got back in & never a penalty in a million years..jones cleared it & hit Mandy a yard away!
We have had a tough start playing a lot of the teams that are tipped to be there or there abouts?

Cracking game though for the neutral?we?ll start grabbing the wins soon, we?ve been playing so well. Nothing to worry about

Even game first half & we shaded it second half, deserved to win?it is what it is

I agree and we?ve had lots of injuries, preventing us from consistently picking the same team, when we finally can, I think we?ll go on a good run.

I have just watched it back on TV never a pen what could Mandy do and if VAR was there it would have been chalked off as I thought they had rewritten the handball rule and ref did OK for 80 mins then started random descions been given and silly bookings too

He?s a yard away from the ball and trying to get his arm out of the way. It?s a very very harsh penalty while he turned a blind eye to them mauling our players in the box at every corner.

Not sure of that.
The law says:
It is an offence if a player:

deliberately touches the ball with their hand/arm, for example moving the hand/arm towards the ball or

touches the ball with their hand/arm when it has made their body unnaturally bigger. A player is considered to have made their body unnaturally bigger when the position of their hand/arm is not a consequence of, or justifiable by, the player?s body movement for that specific situation. By having their hand/arm in such a position, the player takes a risk of their hand/arm being hit by the ball and being penalised

So was Mandy?s arm position justifiable or not?

Probably not, as he seemed, from the highlights, to be pointing to where he thought Jones should clear the ball.

So unfortunate, but a really good game- both teams trying to play football, Town back to our best at times.

If it had happened in the Notts area and we weren't given the penalty then it would be a thread about how bad the ref was.
I didn't see it until I got home and I would've given it tbf.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

Look again & keep your eye on the defenders foot. Clearly onside.

There are 2 handballs unless my beery eyes are playing tricks on me.. Mandy's obvious one & then Jones blocks the subsequent shot which I believe is the one the ref gives the penalty for.
Please bear in mind I haven't seen it again though.
