You know, Goku, you do talk some rubbish at times.

I have already done some simple sums for you on these boards but I will repeat them just for you.

SKS and RR have repeatedly said that over the course of this parliament the State Pension will increase by 1700 pounds because of the triple lock. That is 5 years if they last that long

However they have removed 300 pounds for each year of that period and, funny enough, 5 x 300 = 1500.

So, that gives a difference of 200 pounds and at least 150 of that has already been eaten up with the increase in energy costs recently announced

That then leaves 50 quid to cover inflation over the next 5 years.

Are you telling me that every union employee will gratefully receive a 10 pound increase per annum in their wages and be happy to be told to tighten their belts?

All that before virtually all Labour politicians voted for this and to kill OAPs off at a rate of 4000 a year as per their own analysis.

Then again, I suppose your attitude to the matter ties in with that of this not so grown up, open, and transparent lot in charge. Thank god the Unite Union is prepared say what it thinks rather than just meekly go along with whatever the government they support does.

They?ve alienated pensioners, farmers, students, small businesses and large businesses and many working people, whoever they may be, seems the only folk they've pleased are prisoners with the early release plan and the daily influx of illegal immigrants with the empty smash the gangs rhetoric.
No wonder Starmer is despised, and he is, and they?ve already lost their poll lead. Wait until Kemi has Starmer in knots because he doesn?t know how to handle her at PMQ, I might even be persuaded back to the fold.
East stand second class citizen.

They just need to tighten their belts, like literally everybody else who has been negatively impacted by policy decisions over the last X amount of years. Like how my mortgage almost doubled thanks to Truss and Kwarteng, I had to tighten mine, so now it?s Pensioner?s turn. They?ve been relying on the ridiculously generous triple lock for however long, now it?s belt tightening time baby! We?re all in together, stiff upper lip etc

Mate, when Labour last caved into the unions my mortgage interest rate went over 15% and, in fact, throughout my life I never had a mortgage interest rate anywhere near as low as yours is today so do not look to me for any sympathy on that one.

You are young enough, you think you are clever enough, show some ambition, get a better paid job, become a train driver, work hard, undergo some studying, improve your lot, and stop bleating.

What I didn?t mention was that I got a promotion and pay rise right before I had to remortgage and I didn?t actually participate in any belt-tightening whatsoever 👀 but that?s not the point! plenty of people did have to. It?s the pensioners who need to stop bleating. ?Oooh I?m gonna be a bit chilly? shut up Maureen put a bleeding jumper on ya wet blanket

Edit: hard to format posts properly when everything comes out as question marks
