Well that’s where we differ isn’t it - I want to stop the boats so that less asylum seekers drown and you want to stop the boats because you don’t want them coming at all.

As a bit of a thought experiment - imagine there were no people trying to cross the channel and claim asylum here. In what ways would life improve for Brits, in your opinion. Under Labour, under Reform, under the Tories, whoever.

Your words not mine pal - if you can’t back it up I’ll just have to assume you’ve made it up in your head.

That's the second time you have stated that comment - I previously asked you to come back to me on the post I made, but you didn't, so consider yourself lucky I can be fkd to look something up for you. Why would I make it up? However, why is your focus on the subtext of my post - it's literally the most irrelevant part of what I wrote. You did exactly the same thing a couple of weeks ago.

Pretty much anyone from Garden Court Chambers.

If there were no illegal immigrants coming across in boats the RBLI wouldn’t be stretched. Local coastal towns would become areas wrecked people feel unsafe, millions would be saved in costs to house and feed and cloth them. Women wouldn’t feel intimidated and at risk in areas of large illegal populations, ie hotels. Schools wouldn’t have to warn parents about people taking pics of kids. Local nhs staff wouldn’t give preference to illegal immigrants, folk might see a nurse or Dr sooner.

It's already powerful. The art isn't too let it write stuff but use it for assistance and then personalie the output. Plus of course all the other stuff it does - like all those bots you chat to online...

If you don't think it will ever be powerful, you really need to revisit progress. They probably thought the same about the internal combustion engine...

You do realise that none of this is Starmers doing? Or are you so blinkered and full of hate that you actually think it is?

Very true, Mark. Part and parcel of the acts I listed earlier.

How he can stand at a lectern and lie AGAIN, is beyond me. He previously stood there and said the reactions to the Southport riots were coordinated by far-right extremists. He's worse than Boris, and that takes some serious doing.

He knows for a fact, we cannot do a single thing about the boats, because the laws HE was part of enacting, stop anyone from doing so. Meanwhile, the likes of BlackRock and Serco major investors know exactly this; hence, why the NGOs have been and are currently encouraging the invasion of these shores. It's an exploitation racket of the most extreme proportions - created by Blair and Starmer.

He actually used the words “keeping a straight face” on tv this morning when talking about other politicians not keeping promises.

Starmer today after Reforms stunning success in the locals..
“I believe we need to reduce immigration significantly”

And we’re supposed to trust this gang of liars?

Keir Starmer is trying to reinvent Labour as the party of border control, unveiling his long-trailed immigration white paper this morning, warning of Britain becoming an “island of strangers.” It might be worth dusting off the archives and seeing what Starmer’s cabinet ministers used to say about immigration:

Keir Starmer: In 2020 promised to have an “immigration system based on compassion and dignity. End indefinite detention and call for the closure of centres such as Yarl’s Wood.”
Said in 2015 that Tory legislation to make it a criminal offence to rent accommodation to illegal immigrants promoted “everyday racism.”
Starmer authored a review of ‘Immigration Law and Practice’ in 1988 in which he argued that all immigration law is “racist.”
Yvette Cooper: In 2015 wanted every city town and borough to take 10 refugee families.
In 2015 held up a sign saying ‘refugees welcome’ and said the Government needed to do more to help refugees.
Pat McFadden: In 2018 said “immigration debates dehumanise people” and that it “makes no sense for us to be so focussed on immigration caps and quotas that the NHS cannot employ the qualified doctors we need.”
Angela Rayner: In 2021 slammed arguments for the NHS to be less reliant on migration, saying “Our NHS would collapse without the staff who were born overseas…NHS staff [don’t deserve] this cheap xenophobia.”
David Lammy: In 2018 said: “All the evidence shows both EU and non-EU migrants are hugely beneficial to the UK. Almost every politician knows this, but many are afraid to tell the truth.”
Bridget Phillipson: In 2023 attacked Tory plans to lower student migration numbers.
Liz Kendall: In 2020 slammed proposals for a point-based immigration system and salary thresholds, saying they had “terrible implications for social care” that is “already stretched to breaking point & these proposals will only increase pressure”. In 2019 she also said “Immigration brings a significant net economic benefit to UK.”
Shabana Mahmood: In 2015 slammed the Tories immigration bill over the impact on “asylum seekers at risk of destitution”. Pictured with a sign saying “Refugees welcome here” outside of Parliament.
Jonathan Reynolds: In 2017 spoke of his “fear” that “large numbers want immigration reduced without any link to economic context or labour market needs.”
Lisa Nandy: In 2020 said: “We can’t play dog whistle politics. Labour should never have committed to ending free movement alongside the Tories. We have to listen & make the case for our values- but we must understand why the anti-immigration narrative takes hold & how we can respond.”
Meanwhile, Starmer is gearing up to allow tens of thousands of EU workers into Britain by signing up to an EU-UK youth mobility scheme. So far Labour’s ‘crackdown’ on migration has seen small boat crossings increase by over 40% higher than the figure for this time last year. Still no commitment to a cap on net migration either…

Guy lays down factual truths and he's told he's mentally ill and right-wing 😂 textbook!

Yet, you are the board's worst perpetrator for constantly lying and spreading misinformation like it's gospel. Who do you think looks more mentally ill?

Starmer will have (possibly already has) considerably whittled down the falling number of Labour supporters who support him with his recent speech. On GM this morning Cooper wouldn't say that she knew that he's use the Powell esque phrase or whether or not she agreed with it.

If Labour has the equivalent of a 1922 Committee, that group ought to be having a serious discussion about what's what with Starmer.

So much common sense from Jenrick this morning. Shame his party is done for. A Jenrick/Farage coalition would be a dream ticket. We can but hope.

You seriously have to wonder who’s advising him because it’s a car crash after car crash every time he appears at the lectern. He simply can’t go out and about to meet people unless it’s in a structured pre arranged setting because he’d be heckled mercilessly.
The ones on the left who supported him and his previous immigration stance are appalled at his new rhetoric, whilst those on the right, myself included, see it as a cheap publicity stunt that carries no weight but he felt he had to say it after Reforms huge gains last week.
I honestly don’t know how he’s still in the role of PM.

601 arrived by small boat yesterday.
Unbelievable figures that show no signs of slowing. And Starmer made no reference to this in his latest lectern lie fest.Time to declare this a national emergency.

Starmer is wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong.

You don't beat Reform by being an even worse version of them - you beat Reform by being a better version of Labour.

Restore the WFA. Or at least raise the threshold so only the truly well off lose it.

Restore benefit payments to the most vulnerable in society. In fact go further and remove the two child cap.

Restore Border Force and the immigration system to levels capable of reducing the scandalous backlog created by the Badenoch and Jenrick conveniently suffering severe cases of amnesia regarding their record.

Restore safe and legal routes rendering the human traffickers redundant.

Restore international agreements such as the Dublin Accord which obliged other countries to accept removals.

Then confront the myths, misinformation and mindless tropes being peddled by Reform head on.

Point out that with an ageing population and falling birthrate the UK needs migrant workers to do the jobs to pay the taxes to fund the pensions.

Point out that our NHS would collapse overnight without them.

Point out that not just the care sector, but pretty much every other would quickly follow too.

All whilst embracing Labour's historical allies the trade unions to ensure pay and employment practices attract more British born applicants.

Point out it's decades of social housing sold off without replacement that's created homelessness.

Point out it's decades of underfunding that's created disgraceful waiting lists.

Starmer could also point out how many millions foreign students contribute towards universities or the 'Staff Wanted' signs in countless windows following the Brexit supposed, of course, to 'take back control' of all this.

Only for migration to rise from around two hundred thousand to nearly a million under Boris Johnson.

That's Boris Johnson.

However rather than do any of that he chose to further facilitate the Farage led feeding frenzy.

To pander to prejudice.

To parrot none other than Enoch Powell.

I don't know from which demographic he's seeking support, but I do know I'm not a member...
