Going Concern..........
The Company has significant net liabilities and continues to trade at a loss. The ability to continue trading is totally reliant on the major shareholder and its creditors.
God only knows how much debt we have now"
Going bust lads, going bust.
well lets look at what we actually know for a fact.
last seasons accounts showed debts at failed mill had risen to £4,600,000. Radfords own interview stated losses were running at around £100k a month. So by extension, I guess its fair to say the clubs debts will have risen to around £5,500,000.
This level of debt is against the backdrop of other club announcements - first that One Call insurance had cut the loans to MTFC from £100k a month to £33k a month. A massive amount of money. Second, that Radford has publicly asked for investors to come into MTFC.
All of that is out there in the public domain. Its not some load of guff made up by rival supporters.
The real debate is how Radford gets himself (and MTFC) out of this pickle. He and his company wont want to write off £5,000,000. He does not want to pay any money back to H+S (maybe he doesn't have the liquidity to be able to pay them back).
So, how can he get his/One Calls money back?
Gates are unlikely to rise enough to generate that sort of revenues. While the 3G pitches and the refurbished Sandy Pate bar will generate extra revenue, again it wont be massive amounts, so just how does Radford get an extra £15,000 per day in revenue into the club? The other option is a draconian reduction in salaried staff at MTFC. But again, this is only going to reduce the quality of the product on offer ( I know, I know) so how does he get is money back and get out of this?
The only asset that has any value at all is the real estate that failed mill sits on. It just so happens that this asset is owned by John Radford Stadium ltd. and not MTFC. Coincidence?
