Seemed to feeling his groin about 10 minutes after coming on. I hope this is not a major problem as he is the key to our chances.

Didn't notice that, looked every inch a match winner today, his ball to oshea for the third goal was brilliant

He pulled his groin In the last 5mins at Scunny last week, hence why Cook put him on the bench, hoping not to risk him. But we needed him and he's the main reason we got 3 vital points today. Just hope he's not agravated it.

He is key. In fact in my opinion if he is not fit we will not finish in the top 3.

Not hijacking a thread.

But for me, the best player in the division, real top drawer. Genuinely top onion. I'm sick of watching football played from front to back or vice versa, so hope for the division's sake if not your own, this tinge is not too bad.

According to the peak interviews he didnt train yesterday after feeling stiff after training Thursday but according to Cook he should be ok for Tuesday.

Not often I agree with you Walton but I noticed the same and he clearly has a problem. Whether or not a prolonged absence is on the cards is far from clear but I note that you don't miss a chance to be pessimistic!

Absolutely without any doubt the quality of Roberts turned the game our way to get the win. I saw him holding his groin (hernia?) and wouldn't be surprised if he is on bench again on Tuesday and, like today, brought on if needed. Gardner was very poor today and Banks ok but below par.

I thought O'Shea was hard done to when dropped for Gardner, don't get me wrong he burst on to the scene with a debut goal, a screamer at Northampton and the a great run for Roberts goal v York, but for me at the moment he lacks the influence Jay has.. Time for O'Shea to start in place of him for me.

Agree. I like Gardner but I've seen him in the las three games and he's struggled to offer much at all. Time for a rest.

Fair call that. Quality player and should be feeling confident after his brace today.

In fact Cook says on the peak post match interview that he told O'Shea on the coach home from Scunthorpe he would be starting today, that was probably going to be in place of Gardner until Roberts had the niggle in the groin.
