Overheard today at work a Leeds fan and a Scabs fan arguing. To cut a long story the scabs fan said 'Leeds Utd are the poor mans bowels the Leeds fan replied that he prefers that that than a poor mans Chesterfield'

Just be happy that you're not a Bury fan over here! The proportion of people who support their local team to those who hunt glory over at Old Trafford or the Etihad is disgraceful.
I just don't know what I'm supposed to be

I can't see how leeds are a poor mans wednesday. As much as i dislike them, leeds are a much bigger side historically.

Applying logic to these arguments is a complete waste of time, mate.

My aunt's neighbour is still a big Shakers fan after 50yrs or so, when I've been over there, even when they went up with us the other year, their support is dreadful (my cousins go to City).

i tell you what I heard that made me laugh today, Arsenal are charging as much as £132 just for a regular seat for their game against Bayern, that's not included in the four figure season ticket price. Now there are financially well run clubs and then there is daylight robbery towards supporters, this is the latter.
If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything!
