I was told yesterday theres another concert day after Tom Jones I understand these are both rumours with little evidence of truth. Just like we were selling Hird Togwell Chapman richards Lee and Tendayi in this transfer window

There is a lot of truth in the second concert 'rumour'. Nick Johnson does a club news section on the Peak FM breakfast show on Friday morning.
His last bit of news this week was that he hoped to be able to talk about a Sunday concert next week!
When it comes to evidence, from the horses mouth is good enough for me!

sounds like something made up by one of those with their knives in his back.
The only way he'd be signing a pre contract with anyone would be if we'd told him he wasn't to be offered a new deal - and whilst that isn't impossible it would be a very odd way of motivating a very important player for the promotion run in.
I suspect it is malicious speculation based purely on geography. If we are not offering him a new deal there will be a couple of dozen other clubs making offers - virtually all of whom will be able to pay more than the brewers.

Not a chance, next!
Why are people so eager to push players out of the club BTW?

Not wishing to add credibility to the rumour but, if he wasnt retained, I could see him moving elsewhere on lower terms if theres the security of a new 2-year contract. Or even staying here on less lucrative terms. I think he could do a job in L1 though we would also need to recruit and strengthen in the striker department next summer, assuming it wont happen before May.

Dunbavin signing on again can only mean that Chapman has got fixed up.

Also, does anybody know whether Dunbavin is eligible for the Paint Pot?. We might be in a pickle if he isn't.

we've always had boo boys, they pick a victim and keep slagging him off until he leaves or they find another victim. This is just an extension of that; don't like a player so make up a rumour linking him with promotion rivals.
For some reason they've chosen MR this week, it was Doyle a couple of weeks back, wonder who they'll choose next? I remember with disgust the treatment meted out at various times to Danny Whitaker, David Moss, Chris Perkins, Jamie Hewitt and Ernie (carthorse) Moss.
You really despair at our 'support' at times - they're even doing it now when we are 3 points clear at the top of the league

I blame the first "whipping boy" (in my time) Tony Moore
