Crewe have just tweeted that he has been released. I have a few Wednesday supporting mates who love him... I don't get the obsession.

Good luck to Gregor, played a bigger part in our title season than many give him credit for.
"one day, we shall return" (edit - and so we did).

Would be decent cover for LB and CB.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

Took a lot of unwarranted stick from many off here iirc. A good player but dreadfully unlucky with injuries.
The greatest miscarriage of justice since my case against the producers of the Never Ending Story

Nowt against him but my guess is he would look poor compared to smith or humphries

He'd got a lovely left foot.

On the subject of the LB position, I'd be amazed if PC wasn't looking to bring in a first choice LB for next season.

But he ran like a girl. Good luck to him.

He kept the much discussed Griffiths out of the starting line up after he'd resigned on loan. griff only got back in when Robbo was moved to CB to replace Mattis.

One of the few players to be released and to sign for a higher level club.

I think thats not correct. May be wrong but I thought Brendan Batson was on pfa after his playing days ended.

It is correct, he replaced Clarke Carlisle who had to give up the role after hanging up his boots. Batson was the former chief exec, now a trustee

It must be specific to certain roles then as Batson became chief exec of pfa after playing

4 foot Boris Johnson lookalike? Decent player! Blackpool are a sinking ship though!

Still more chance of staying up than Barnsley!
