Dunno if it's already been posted but Jacob Hazell has gone on loan to Buxton - he played today and they lost 2-1 to Rushall, Dele Adebola scoring the winner.

Hartley also 'bagged' for Stevenage in the cup against Donny Rovers.

Downesy scored past his best man too!

I went to see Tamworth play in September and Kerry was by some distance their best player, though it has to be said that Tamworth were awful.

Slightly obscure, but ex-Town loanee Stefan Moore (who came to Town with Hitzelsperger from Aston Villa) has taken a 'big money' transfer from Leamington FC to Brackley Town. Moore had been here for the last year or so, and really, by most accounts, hadn't been pulling up any trees until about 3 months ago. With Leamington struggling at the bottom of the Skrill North league, Moore hit a vein of form, scoring for fun, setting up pretty much most of the other goals scored and powering Leamington to mid table safety (for now).

Brackley - who are also in the Skrill Northern Division - appear to be your atypical non league club with big ambitions and an owner with bigger pockets to support them - therefore the offer for Stefan was apparently unable to be matched by The Brakes..

Remember him. What a waste of space he was.

Another one of the clubs mistakes according to some.

When you consider Togwell and Devitt can't make the starting eleven when the squad is fit, he'd have never got a sniff this season!

Indeed, other than the cameo against Crew I never saw him do much for us, I certainly didn't see what some did in suggesting he should be offered another contract, we have players now vastly superior.

Clay lived off that Crewe game for months. Never looked like pushing on from that and I was surprised he found another league club.

Clay was messed around from day 1 after the Crewe match. Sheridan never gave him a chance to try and impress himself on the fans, just bit part cameo's and even put at centre back on one occasion. He had a very high workrate and his passing was usually to a good standard. Had he been given a fair shot I'm sure he would have developed into a decent player for us.

As for comparing him to the players we have now that's unfair imo. They are all battle hardened players with league experience whereas Clay was a fresh faced youngster out of the academy. You can't fairly compare them.
If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything!
