I think the moderators have a difficult job.

For example, how busy would they be if they had to act on every post that contains a) bad will to fellow Spireites? b) bad language, ... etc etc etc.

I think the major problem is that despite this being a place for debate there isn't, with many, room for more than one view.

I feel the moderators do well to allow a proper informed debate and don't allow alternative views to be converted into this odd expression that is "trolling". In a debate there's nothing wrong with disagreement.

Hopefully, it wasn't me that Mr.M was having a go at anyway.

I don't believe in 'reporting' posts or people. I think its childish to do such things just because certain folk don't agree with certain things. I see it as a form of grassing,and i dislike grasses and tittle tattlers. Many on here are grown men yet act as though they are children or have been brought up in a nunnery or something. If you want to grass on folk,then being a special police officer would suit this type of person. I hate coppers also.

I have reported a handful of posts in my time on this board, and never expected or received a direct response.

However, its usually for swearing (and usually Lindo-Spireite!!) and don't bother revisting previsouly read posts to check.

I don't use the report button, I do however tend to print everything sammy spireite posts then have it on standby for when I run low on bog roll.

I think it a case of if your face fits sometimes I got a warning for say someone talks like a *** { breast ] and had my post removed then you see all kids of swearing that just gets left on

Know what you mean. I had a warning for getting round the swear filter but folk are always doing it. Think SHE just don't like me.

Yes he was fitting you up and stealing your property cos that's what we do. As you rightly say we are all bent and this country is pretty much on a par with Mexico when it comes to Police corruption.
