derby games can be horrible ocassions but can also be wonderful, down the years i've witnessed an equal share of both as well as some drab non events. if i had to pick my favourite all time derby game though it would the 4-0 win over the scabs in 2000/01 season, i seem to recall we'd lost our previous home game to Barnet. this derby game ended 4-0 yo us but could quite easily have ended 10 or 11 nil. it also provides one of my favourite ever football moments, when steve blatherwick went on a right wing run took on a beat a defender and was laughing whilst doing it, priceless. what's yours?

I think Hazel made his debut that night in place of Kevin Davies, I wouldn't have said that Hazel was tremendous in that game (I presume you mean the 5-2). Law, Howard and Lormor were fantastic in the 5-2.

Plus Law's performance in the 1-1 first leg match in a pretty intimidating atmosphere was superb.

Well I thought Hazel was an excellent player at the time.

How bad are Mansfield's shirts?

They look like walking boiled sweets

There's a number of derbys I remember fondly but the away game at Mansfield when we had 3 sides of field mill was bonkers!! Great occasion :)
We 8 Mansfield oh we 8 Mansfield!!
