Don't worry you say, there's the Bon Jovi tribute and Cheryl/Kylie to look forward to.

Sorry John, I don't find that disappointing; not a big fan of Barry Manilow.

it would be a dissapointment if the club didnt get anyne who can make us a few bob but would Barry Manilow fit the bill? maybe not. Work to be done behind the scenes but surely there are better gigs

Got to agree with you. I think most supporters were a bit annoyed at seeing a three goal slip, but its absolutely nothing compared to this devastating news.

Was Manilow ever a consideration or are we just going to have a list of threads where an artist announces a tour and we moan at the club if we dont get one? Also aside from one at Portman Road and the cricket ground in Hampshire he is playing main big arenas rather than the Elton style tour where we got in. Also out of the massive list of 8 dates he is doing 3 are in London and only two are anywhere classed as being in the north of the UK.
Tuesday – May 13 – London – Wembley Arena
Wednesday – May 14 – London – Wembley Arena
Friday - May 16 – Ipswich, UK – Ipswich Town Football Club
Sunday – May 18 – Manchester – Manchester Phones 4U Arena
Monday – May 19 – Glasgow – The SSE Hydro
Thursday – May 22 – Cardiff – Motorpoint Arena
Saturday - May 24 – Southampton, UK – Ageas Bowl, Hampshire CCC
Monday – May 26 – London – The O2 Arena
Also the club delivered on the Elton concert to excellent reviews both from those who attended and those involved as to how it was run so why shouldnt we trust them to deliver or is it just a chance to moan?

Let me get this right then.
You are complaining because Barry Manilow isnt going to be doing a concert at the Proact, now you are questioning the clubs choice of artist that they may or may not have playing live?
If there's ever been a case of damned if you do & damned if you dont!!!

i don,t understand why the club does not get The prevention to perform at the proact.............they are much better than the cure.
