No need to panic mate, it was just one of those games . See the bookies aren't fooled , still 2/1 favourites to win it, , and odds on to go up -if you want to flog me your betting slips with 9/1 on ?

At least the journey there and back was better than last season, that day the weather was just as bad as the game!

Morecambe is one of those places that I wonder why I bother keep going to. Seen us win once there and I think Gritton scored which seems like donkeys years ago now.

After hearing you on Peak yesterday I had visions of them finding you floating face down in Morecambe Bay.
The result hit us all like a hammer in the face. Listened to it on the radio and was jumping up and down with a massive grin on my face for the first half. By the end of the second I just felt sick.

Hird did ok at right back in the first half, we had most of the problems when he was switched to play as a 3rd centre back

yes a terrible result after being 3-0 up but hopefully Cook and the players learn from it and don't let it happen again

Warfey's not the only one to have had time to reflect on his return journey. I left Anstruther in Fife at 10am, caught the 12 noon from Glasgow Central to Lancaster, taxi to the ground and basked in the glory of the first 25 minutes. Back to Lancaster to catch the 5.55 back to Glasgow, then on to Hamilton overnight. The moral of the story is that when you've been a Spireite over 60 years, you grow to expect the unexpected. Life goes on, so lets get over it.

Hat off to you, I used to drive up from Swindon for the home games and drive up even earlier for the away games.

It's funny that you keep popping up as I've just had a chat with my daughter and her mate about bullies at school.

Did you bore them too ? Did you speak to them about victimisation ? Jealousy ?

Agreed, but my point is that there's no point going over the top. I had my post for last night planned in my mind after 22 minutes. It won't go into print now but Warfey's still here to tell the tale as opposed to Rpl 42 who knows more about things he hasn't seen than those of us who have. Better to have seen and suffered than not to have seen at all!

You really were a bully at school weren't you

Shaun, this is this last ever post from me to you no matter how much you want to try and make me look silly or however much abuse or anger you have towards me, as this is a message board and people don't want to read this drivel; though you can carry on abusing me with my blessing as much as you like if it makes you feel bigger/ better than me/ turns you on or helps with your anger issues as I can't do anything about your immaturity and self worth. So carry on if you want, but you won't draw a reply from me, so you'll have to find someone else to stalk if that's what you get off on.

I too travelled to the game from Fife! Got the 10.52 from Edinburgh with a mate I dragged down for his first ever visit to see the Spireites! Our reflections were drowned by masses of beer and vodka anaesthetics.
