Who should make up the back 4 and should Togwell get a game in midfield? Just as Evo has been champing at the bit to play so has Cook been champing at the bit to play him. Evo hasnt signed to play in the reserves but Hird and Cooper were doing fine. The changes backfired albeit Talbot's was enforced. Whats Cook gonna do?

Cook will play what he believes is his best available 11 IMO. So basically, it won't be that far off the starting 11 from Saturday.

Let's see. I don't see many, if any changes at all, although he may give Togwell a run out. Cook will demand that the players who let him down in yesterday's second half, put it right against Mansfield.

I think if we had gone on to win yesterday, then there would have been about 6 changes, however due to the manner of the defeat, I believe he will make them all play on Tuesday. However, depending on when Doyle and Oshea's partners decide to go in to labour, will have an impact on cooks selection.

I suppose if he does make the full allocated amount of changes, the only player who will be 100% safe is Humphrey's due to Smith not being available.

The side possibly if the changes are made and taking in to account no players that were not available Saturday are still not available.

Chapman

Darikwa Evatt Edwards Humphrey's

Togwell Ryan

Devitt oshea mcsheffery

Porter

It also depends on how much Cook wants to win this game on Tuesday, that will have a influence on his selected side.

I have no idea of cooks thoughts and players that will play, but if he does make changes, I'm 100% Ritchie Humphrey's will start, he's the only cert IMO along with maybe, McSheffrey.

I think Drew will be back. If we'd won yesterday I reckon he'd have left him out. Maybe give Cooper a rest and play Evatt alongside Hird. I'd also like to see Togwell start in place of one of Ryan or Morsy, probably Ryan.

If Gnanduillet is fit I'd be tempted to start him also.

If Talbot isn't fit I'd also fancy sticking Darikwa at RB with Devitt on the wing. Just to give Jennings a bit more of a problem than he had at our place. But who knows hopefully we can manage to convert some of the chance we failed to last time.

We must start our strongest possible team. If we were to lose twice to the yellow filth either side of yesterday then team morale could take a battering that would take a long time to fix IMO.

Asking a lot from Humphrey's, especially when he will have only played a game 3 days prior. He's a fit lad for his age, but asking him to play wing back is a tall order and possibly unfair on the lad.

Cooks going to have to maybe drop one of the centre backs IMO. Decisions, decisions.

I can't see Porter starting in a front two. I wouldn't be averse to it per se but it doesn't seem Cook's way.

S-H - then it would have to be Evatt as it wouldn't be good for team morale and the wider squads view of the management if players that have hardly put a foot wrong all season get dropped to accommodate star signing. Dropping Evatt would be illogical if we take the view that he's class and just needs pitch time. Hence the thought to move to a 3 CB formation. It will be interesting to see if adversity causes Paul Cook to stick to his believes or if he starts to chop and change? First of a few challenges for PC that will emerge during the course of the season.

W-S - yes, I agree with you but in modern management flexibility appears to be a requirement. I'd like to think that PC isn't so wedded to one team formation that it starts to cost him/us. I hope he's like me with views on centre midfield down the years - open minded ;)

Should stick with the same team that started yesterday.
Evatt needs games, all of them need to prove that yesterday was a freak of nature.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

3-1 TO THE BLUES...MCSHEFF.DOYLE & JO.

CAMPBELL.

DARWIKWA.EVATT.COOPER.HUMPH.

MORSEY.TOGWELL.BANKS. OSHEA.
MCSHEFF.

DOYLE.

SUB: LEE.RYAN.HIRD..POTTER.DEVITT.

I'D REST LEE.,HIRD AND RYAN AHEAD OF THE FLEETWOOD GAME WHICH IS MUCH MORE IMPORTANT TO WIN.

THERE WILL BE NO MORE SLIP UPS LIKE YESTERDAY,WE JUST NEED RICCO ,DREW AND ROBERTS BACK AND WE'LL SCORE 5 0R 6 BEFORE LONG.

We can't make too many changes due to the rules, I'd like to see Togwell get a game, but also I don't want us to lose against Mansfield twice so I'd like to see us play a strong side.

Be unfair for any of the players who have done so well before yesterday to lose their place in the side due to yesterday, especially Hird who was playing out of position. I'd prefer Darikwa to him at right back though. A week or so ago we were talking of playing Evatt in the JPT, he's already made his debut and doubled our goals against. Can we afford to stick with Evatt until he's match fit, or should we revert to what was working previously.
