DROP!! It's all happening. Chanderpaul is dropped by Meschede at mid-on. They run through for a single. Derbyshire 224-8 (77 overs). Need 20


I can only assume Mark Nicholas is umpiring to take them off for lunch!!

The laws are that either batting or bowling side can delay lunch/tea by 15 mins by request to the umpires. Which appears to be the case to either side, having said that if Derbyshire had lost another wicket, 30 mins could have been added to play prior to lunch.

It's just cricket all over, they have rules for all eventualities but none really work.

Derbyshire win!! Took all of 8 balls after they'd finished their tea and cake as 4 from the legs of Chanderpaul get us over the line. Massive win!!
