If he can get fit and stay fit, that may well be the missing piece! No pace but experienced, commanding, good distributor.......just the job!!

I WANT TO BELIEVE... this would be just what we need, even if fitness is a bit of an issue, he would complete the defence for me and be the perfect partner for cooper, almost going full circle really, he learnt from blathers so the one time apprentice returns as the master. :sunglasses

Okay everyone. I only became a Spireite in 2007 so I missed Evatt. Could someone please tell me what he did in his first spell that was so amazing, and why he'd help Cooper and complete the defence. Thanks. Sorry for the silly question.

Was brought in as a midfielder and was average, moved to center back and was a class above. Seem to remember a couple of player of the year awards??
