always loved kovacs, its a shame we didnt keep hold of him as i felt he could have gone on to be a very decent centre half

I liked Kovacs too. I would like to hear the chant (quoted in the article) that the Lincoln fans are supposed to have sung in his name. Surely this isn't sung to the music of 'Copacabana' is it?

I noticed on tv (a month or so ago) that Miranda Hart took a fancy to Janos and started falling for him (literally - as she does ) when she visited Luton Town for a programme about Eric Morecombe. If true, the move back to Hungary may well be connected.

Not really, he's signed a pro deal so is one of the squad

2nd choice L2 to 2nd choice L1 is still a step up

I bet there is no more than about 7 or 8 players we have released who've then 'moved up' the ladder

Janos may get Champions League football then, although they (Gyori) need to overturn a 2-0 deficit from their 2nd round qualifier 1st leg defeat to Maccabi Tel Aviv.
