Glad I played instead. Good crowd?

The twitter feed announced a sell out and that's just what the cricket team did.

You will. I'm looking forward to it. I like the limited overs stuff but there's something about a full day of four day stuff you can't beat. I was going to have an all day drinking companion but probably for the best he's not managed to get the day off!

I think I'll plan to have a couple or three in the afternoon and culminate with a stroll back up Chatsworth Road (Tramway/Barrel) and home for a reasonable hour.

I had the option of Friday when my brother's off but I suggested to him that there may be no cricket by then! Sounds like Slater and Burgoyne are playing and rightly so. Durston's tweets suggest he'll be fit. I don't expect us to win and we'll get relegated but if the local lads can put up a fight and play with pride then I'll be happy.

Big, swelled by Yorkshire

It's a hard watch at the moment but at least with York batting it should last well into 3 days

At least you have the weather even if it is a bit one-sided.

You suffer with anything else that's premature ?

Batters wicket for sure, Derbyshire have no luck what so ever at the moment all the air shots landed just short or half a metre to the side of a player, some fantastic shots played though by the porkshire duo. Burgoyne bowled superbly. I am going to stick my neck out here because I have faith in Slater on his debut that this will be a draw.

I am sticking my neck out that we lose 15 wickets in a day tomorrow.

You'd be sticking your neck out by suggesting we'd manage to reach tomorrow.

I sure our boys are looking forward to a day off

Can't make my mind up whether to go today. Not sure I will be able to cope with the ignorant porkshire twerps celebrations

At least next year we'll playing a nicer county at Queens Park

Is Brooks still wearing his headband taking himself oh so seriously.

From what I gather during his time in Northants he and the tykes deserve each other. Not a nice chap - the sort that fisting was designed for.

Maybe not 120/6. A little embarressing. Especially as i've got to meet one of my friends after he's been there all day. No doubt he'll be glotting all night.
Hopefully this season will be a learning curve for some of the younger players and they will come back stronger next season.
