to be fair if we wanted 150K for a player and we could up the price a little more I am sure we would do it too. Having said that HURRAY UP AND SELL HIM TO US!!! :lol:

They got him for nowt and will get nowt for him in a year if they don't sell now. Anything they get is pure profit. If they are too greedy they'll lose out on a fee and have to pay an unsettled player for a year. We're not a soft touch and it sounds like we are his preferred destination. They are going to have to bite the bullet.

I wish he would put in an official transfer request. I'm not aware he has done this as it would certainly speed the process up.

not sure how it would make any difference, and he may already have done so; he's certainly told them he wants to leave which is the same thing, isn't it?

It's not the same, without a transfer request he will be due a cut of the transfer fee. Seeing as Southend are skint it could just sway the deal.
