Sounds like it could be lively at the T20 game tomorrow night at the County Ground!!

Due to unprecedented demand for tickets – advanced sales have been temporarily suspended for tomorrow night’s Friends Life t20 match versus Nottinghamshire Outlaws.

Applications for tickets can be made on 01332 388 101 and the Club will return the calls - on a first come first served basis - if any tickets remain for the match.

Members and Six Pack Ticket holders are being advised to arrive early to guarantee their entry to the ground.

A specific number of tickets have been held back to ensure entry for the projected number of Members and Six Pack Ticket holders attending the game, but the only way to guarantee entrance is by arriving with plenty of time in hand.

Gates will open half an hour early at 5pm and refreshments will be available throughout the evening.

The capacity of the County Ground is 4,999 and – with health and safety a top priority – nobody will be admitted to the ground once capacity is met.

All those attending the fixture are advised to arrive at the ground as early as possible to avoid congestion. Gates will be open at the County Ground half an hour early from 5pm.

I'm buggered then, I have 2 membership cards but won't be able to get down for 5 because of work.

Might be worth giving them a ring to see what the crack is with membership...not entirely clear on that statement!

The membership doesn't cover T20 that's a different membership thingy, I suppose they keep so many tickets back to cater for the members. I'm not to fussed anyway its a lot of rushing around after work for me.

We've kindly got use of a couple of corporate membership tickets which are transferable. We're not able to get the train before 18.06 but we should be fine to be in for the start. A couple of the lads have tickets to collect but it can't be helped.

Shame we lost but before the T20 started had someone offered us 3 wins and a loss from the first 4 we'd take it. Only won two in the whole competition last season.

Don't get too dis-heartened Jon, Notts are clear favs to win the tournament... I dare say the price on Derbyshire will still go out a bit though :sunglasses

Can't wait for 10am Wednesday now, after watching The Lions tear the Aussies a new one in the deciding test.

Well done GB+I.

Now let's teach the Aussies a lesson in another one of OUR sports.
Mug?? Being wrong never gets boring!

Sunday at Queens Park could be heading the same way as Friday at Derby so don't plan on leaving it until the day or you could be disappointed.

Capacity is set as the same as the County Ground as it goes, 5,000. If you put that online code in that was on the website a couple of weeks back tickets are only a tenner.

I'm happy with Footitt in the 4 day side even if not in limited overs cricket.

Finished with 6 fer after getting the final wicket...

Derbyshire CCC ‏@derbyshireccc 6m
WICKET!! Footitt (6-53) has six wickets!! Rushworth bowled for 4. Durham 253 all out (86 overs); Wood 4*

I would tend to agree..i do wonder if he gets a go in limited overs stuff due to this fashionable thing about left armers doing well in limited over stuff which is not something i really believe anyway. He does get wickets but at times i wonder if the runs he goes for in limited overs games is to high a price.

What is madness is the selection of both Johnson and Poynton. If Johnson plays he surely he keeps wicket to allow the batting to be strengthened. I know Whiteley is injured, Slater and Godleman out of form, but there had to be an alternative. Alex Hughes?

I see that this Elstone has been getting a lot of runs for the Seconds. Ex notts.

He'd have been an option. Better than playing two wicket keepers! He smashed a big score in the Premier Cup for Dunstall at Cuckney the other week.

Alex Hughes would have been my choice though.

Ches really has to be reconsidered for the championship games - of for the t20 stuff but 4 ducks in his last 6 innings.

He probably would be if we had other options. Unfair as it may be if you remove his 270 at Headingley he's probably barely in double figures, average-wise.
