i heard he enjoyed his time with us, but would he be a little out of reach now? worth a punt yes but realistically I very much doubt it.

We know him, he knows us. More importantly (if we're going by reports) were missing out on our main targets so its a perfect fit.

I think the relationship shez had with their manager had quite a bit to do with the loans we brought in from huddersfield.
No chance i think.

Nah mate that was just paper talk and pure rumour, he was never gonna come here, if you believed the wages he was supposedly commanding at Swindon would have made no sense whatsoever! with his age and injury worries glad it came to nothing. Would have Jimmy Ryan all day long and that looks like who we'll be getting.

It was tommy wright that brought Atkinson in. Unless you mean sheridans relationship with Huddersfield meant tommy had one with them too?

No it was fact
CT was negotiating a season loan with us contributing a % of his wages. Swindon, who are very close to admin, wanted us to pay a higher % than we were willing.

Ah ok pal then I'm glad it's fact that the deals fell through, there's younger fitter and better options out there I'm afraid I wouldn't be surprised to see Ryan in a town shirt in the near future.

Pretty sure Cook was still the manager whilst he was here too. Even if it was for a smaller number of games than under Wright/Crossley

Although, sign all Morecambe's players and we might actually be able to beat them in a home match - something we haven't done in five attempts. Being Morecambe players, of course, that might well be the only game we'd win all season...
