As much as I like to see Derbyshire do well I do get a little pleasure from seeing Notts and Yorkshire get beaten.

Only a little?

He's done well in charge of Derbyshire but my personal experience if being around him whilst playing against swarkestone where he is involved is that he's a utter plank!!

Anybody hoping to get to any of the games? Will definitely look at the games on Queens Park and usually get to a couple of t20/one day games in Derby too if the weather is nice.

We're looking to go to the T20 v Durham on the park but annoyingly as appears to have been the case for the last few years it clashes with us being in France so the T20 game is about the only day we can get down there. Might try and get to Derby at some point.

I'm going to the 1 day game against Scotland and then stopping off on the way down at Durham to watch us the next day.

Same here. Tempted by Trent Bridge or Headingley for our T20s too if it falls right for a few beers in Nottingham or Leeds.

They playing up at the Grange in Edinburgh again? We went to see them up there years ago, the time we got to the final. Weather was iffy but a good day none the less. Love Edinburgh mind you...some belting pubs especially in the grassmarket and on the royal mile.

Yeah they are playing there, is it out of the centre do you know and if its easy to get to from the centre ? It's the bank holiday weekend so should be good for the Scotland game and the Durham game on the Monday.

Checking on a map since its years since we went up to the actual cricket ground its just over a mile walking from the main exit of Waverly Station and pretty easy to find :-

Not sure what your plans are for up and how well you know Edinburgh but if you fancy a couple of pints head for the Grassmarket, couple of belting pubs and one of my favourite pubs in the world is just by there on the road from the Grassmarket up to the Royal Mile. Place called the Bow Bar and just opposite it is a place called Oink that serves possibly the best pork sandwich you will ever have.

Derbyshire CCC ‏@derbyshireccc 1m
Without being 100% sure, we reckon Godleman's 50 is the slowest-ever in county cricket...323 minutes; 244 balls

Not a day to be watching possibly!!

Presumably he has other gears too. Better than chucking your wicket away of course but not something he should make a habit of.

I'll put some of it down to the time of year and the likes of Finn bowling but yes it needs to be changing at some point.

Another wicket would be nice but it's been a decent day for Derbyshire today.
