I didn't realise Thommo had gone. Is that Mitchell fella doing the scouting now?

Thomo's been gone 18 months. As far as I know, Mitchell's still in the job.

Why the hate? He did well for us.

Luton are bigger than most clubs in our league.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

I think it's more a pop at a certain poster than Scott himself. He was a solid league two defender who did well in a good side.

I'd go as far as saying he stood out in that championship side.

Not a patch on the other loan full back we had that season. He falls into that same gives 100%, tackles everything etc mould as Niven hence fans liked him.

disagree

When he came back, he was kept out of the side by Robertson, and only got back in when Robertson moved to CH to cover Mattis.

Certainly one of the better loanees we've had in recent year but Smith is much better.

I'd agree with that Sammy. Stood out? Not when compared to Davies, Lester, Smalley, Morgan, Robertson, Hunt, Holden, Tommy etc.

Going forward Smith has absolutely nothing on Griffiths, but Smith is much better defensively - it depends what you want.

But griff wasn't that good going forward! Yes he ran forward but rarely did he produce real quality around the box with the exception of the gillingham game. I liked him and his approach but he was a solid league 2 defender, nothing more.
