Chris Atkinson has signed a new deal at Huddersfield :-

1711: FOOTBALL
Huddersfield Town midfielder Chris Atkinson has agreed a new deal tying him to the Championship side until the summer of 2014.

The 20-year-old has scored once in six appearances for the Terriers this season after a successful loan with League Two side Chesterfield.

Rohann rickets was on talksport today, he's halfway through pre season training, and really looking forward to the season in Ecuador!!!!!!!!
He apparently binned a contract in India because the standard was so dreadful over there and went over to south America. He's certainly seeing the world with his football.

I heard that. He's been all over the world in search of a contract and must have spent more time on the blower to Talksport as a footballing Alan Whicker than he has on the pitch over recent years. Can't recall him phoning H&J's London HQ and telling them what life was like in the distant reaches of North Derbyshire when we had him on trial, though.

It was the early 90's, scored a cracking og in a brilliant game that ended in a 5-4 defeat at Wrexham
