Cannot believe so many of you on this board thought that he was rubbish and that 'we could do better.' Well more fool all of you because he is doing the business again, this time for Scunthorpe in league one.

He is getting rave reviews from all the fans and the local press and some are saying that he won today's game at Coventry on his own. Yeh. we'll stick with Boden up front..

seems like one of the many players that came here, started well and then faded badly under Sheridan.

I didn't expect Leon to do so well at Scunny, going on how he did for us, given how we've done in the last year I think it's quite clear now that JS was more of a problem than Leon Clarke.

It is not a 'pointless thread.' People criticised Clarke when he was here like there was no tomorrow despite him scoring a hatful of goals for us. My point is that yes he may not be the best striker to watch but he gets goals and that is something we lack so perhaps people should think before they criticise players who are obviously better than us

If anyone thinks Boden is better than Clarke then they want shooting, just don't get Boden to do it as he'd probably miss or hit the keeper.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

It is understood that Charlton are keen to bring Clarke back to The Valley as there are teams interested in a permanent deal, with Scunthorpe unable to afford the transfer

read it again they want rid of him

I made my decision on the fact that after his good run he was shockingly lazy, uninterested and didn't want to be here and wear our shirt, so on them points anyone who doesn't want to play for us then they are best off out of here no matter what they do at clubs after.

first couple of games he was great, the rest were shocking.
iv'e never seen a player turn so statuesque in such a short time.his supposed attempts at headers were embarrasing to watch.
if sheridan didn't do a medusa on him then he must have done something wrong cos clarke turned into a very poor player indeed.
between boden and clarke at the time there was only one winner when it came down to work rate, and it wasn't clarke.
