Went to Wembley in 1958 and saw Bolton cheat Man U out of an FA Cup win.Yes ,it made me cry ! Went to the European Cup final in '68 -GREAT night -

SO....can somebody explain to me - like I'm a five year old - why I now dislike so much and have no respect for Manchester United here in 2012?

Is it owners who pay for their purchase with the clubs income .Is it the manager and his awful attitude - "I think Johnny caught him but he should have carried on ". (Can you imagine Ferguson having the same dignity as Di Matteo after a result like that ?) Is it the players - Evans -(laughing) -" Torres kicked me " - Or is it the supporters ?

Just what is it?

HELP !!

Plus Fergy always wants half hour injury time when they losing and no injury time when they winning

When you lose to Barnet, Dagenham, Wimbledon,Morecambe and Fleetwood and its still only October is does make you think about alternatives.
I now support Barcelona.

For me it's not just Manchester u tied - its any of the big clubs. People all over the country "support" them without ever actually going to see them.

It really does my head in - I don't go drinking in town much anymore but you used to see them all on a Sunday when a big premier league clash was going off- in the barracuda in their "teams" shirts watching the match.man u shirts, Chelsea shirts, Liverpool shirts yet how many of them actually have been to watch any of their matches?

Their is also the common reasoning of "my family supports them so I do"

I'm from chesterfield - I support chesterfield. No other team and that's how it should be.

The one reply to that sentence that always leaves them silent is " And your Dad has sex with your Mum. Have you got anything to tell me......?"

I'm no Man Yoo fan and never have been but likewise to a degree I used to enjoy top flight football and now despise it, despise the way it's run and despise the way the FA formed the 'breakaway' PL.

It has all been solely about money and whilst the league may contain some of the best global players it has been unhealthy financially for many clubs who have attempted to compete beyond their means.

As for United, the way that club has been 'bought' by the Glazers is astonishing, how has it been allowed? Most United fans are too blinkered by success to see they are being screwed over (bar a few thousand who understand they are being ripped off and formed/follow AFC) .
"one day, we shall return" (edit - and so we did).

I hate Man Utd simply because so many people jump on their band wagon and never credit the opposition.

They seem to have a God Given right to Win all their Games or that Any Referee that opposes them are automatically wrong.

They seem to be above everything and everybody.

Teams don't beat Man Utd, Man Utd lose.

Every striker that plays against them Dives or cheats but Ronaldo was a sweet and innocent player.

Nobody ever mentions the anger and verbal abuse Ferdinand and Rooney give every Ref after every decision.

Fergie believes if he needs it he has an option of atleast 5 Minutes he can add to a game.

For a glamour Club they may have a big following but there are more people dislike them for their behavious specially in Manchester, (City & FC Man to name a few)

Bull crap......Man Utd did absolutely nothing wrong yesterday, try turning the blame back to where it belongs and that is Chelsea and to a point the match officials.....

Every team must at some point benefit one way or another from match officials and be on the wrong end of good and bad decisions, way some of you lot are talking it is just Man Utd,wake up this is not the case.....

Torres did theatrically simulate his fall, holding his knee and rolling around, Ref got it right.

Out of curiosity, how many times did the Man Utd fans on this forum actually go to watch a match at Old Trafford last season. ?
Me, I went 6 times including Ajax and Athletic Bilbao.
