The budgets gone simple as I beats me that everyone thinks the JPt Bowery money etc is still available the stadium cost £4M+ how does that get paid off? Dave Allen as gone on record to say he financed several players wages above budget last season and we got relegated and we are 16th in the basement division with a top 4 budget and wages must be outstripping budget crowds are down ( and we all know why) and then there is loan players wages who were not accounted for Ridehaigh, Evans and then Boa Morte. If Dave Allen says he isnt putting money in this season then players will need to be shipped out or made to play to the potential they are supposed to have. To be honest if Cook gets them even close to the play offs (which I doubt)he will have done well To be honest He will need to keep one eye looking down

No, I think quite honestly DA has put more than enough money in....its been wasted badly first by Sheridan then again with TW and MC who have wasted money on loan signings who haven't improved us as a team one little bit.
Give the chairman a break.....its cost another 6 figure some to get Paul Cook here so its going to need PC to ship some players out first.

If your a manager that's being head hunted then the first thing your gonna want to know is how much transfer budget you have got.
He your told that you have sweet fa to spend at a lower league club then would you take the job?
Don't forget that your being tempted away from a club with no budget already so why go to a bigger club with higher expectations and no money?
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

Fully agree. D A has put enough money in to have expected a lot more than he has received.
A ridiculous amount of money has been wasted on loan players that are no better than our own squad.
It's now up to P C to get results from hard graft, and the ones that are not prepared to do this are outed at the end of the season. Considering that most have played at a higher level then it it is surely attitude that is lacking and not talent.
Play for your place or find another club.

The reality is rather more disheartening, for us - "Play for your place or sit on your Arris and pick up your wage until your contract expires." I hope and expect, however, that the players will respond to having more expected of them by finding more to give.

If DA isn't intending putting more money into the footballing side of the club maybe he should think about jumping ship. Let's be honest he doesn't appear to be bringing anything else to the table.

A stadium to play in?

We'd all have to shove up a bit if we were playing in Somersall Park.

Totally agree. We need the likes of Arthur Sutherland, Norton Lea and Darren Brown back with their deep pockets and superior generocity. Not to mention their business accumin, honety and integrity.

DA has put tens of thousands of pounds into the playing side, and millions into the club as a whole.........and then you post this. I read stuff like this and the OP, and I can but shake my head in disbelief.

Just what do you think we would have got without DA being involved?

Something like the Deva, but without the frills.
A new hope.

How some minds work, I'll never know.

Still, keep throwing your own money at it Dave.......

With our budget, he shouldn't need to dip into his own money again, yet still we get comments like we've had on this thread.

last season he spent tens of thousands of pounds on loan players, and the first season JS was here we had a pile of loan players - yet its still not enough

Question 1 Say he jumps ship because he gets disillusioned with the club or its fans he is owed £4M and 6% interest please tell me where that would come from?
Question 2 Did he not bring in someone who ISsupposed to know about football
Question3 What else does a chairman need to bring to the table because from where I am sat he as bought masses to the table only to be let down big style
Question 4 If I was in his shoes I wouldnt put anymore in either would you
