Judging by Cook's interview on BBC Sport's website, the players will be training non-stop until the next game. He didn't sound happy at all.
Happiness is like a cake. Have too much; and you get sick of it.

Lets hope so, but improved fitness is only a part of it. He will need to be far more tactically aware than shez and tommy were and need to do some serious wheeler dealing in the transfer market come january if we are to get out of this mess! I'm not suprised hes unhappy after witnessing that..................hes probably just realised the scale of the task ahead of him.

Just as well no one on here will be expecting instant success!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D

 No doubt he'll start with the basics which means starting with players who are fit. Then he'll work on the tactics while sussing out the players which should prove interesting.Guess we'll see some changes in lineups and formations.Fresh faces with loanees and hopefully some in the january window would be good.
Many a good tune

Yeh, starting with Randall, Whittaker and Westcarr out on loan - to the army to man up!

I wouldnt accuse the players of not trying (ok there may be an exception) the problem is channelling their efforts into an effective team plan. If PC can do that largely with the squad we have then he's a real winner. There may be an issue with fitness but not attitude imo
