What's happening? Well, we've seen the back of two managers since that was said.

Nothing but a top 3 finish - that isnt looking likely so he fired the manager, and has appointed someone else - what do you want him to do exactly?

so if he said "we are looking to finish mid table this season" would you be happy? of course not!! so exactly what would you have liked him to say?

Give it a blinking rest.
Make no mistake, yesterday's result was a kick in the swingers. I actually thought we played well enough to take all 3 points, Barnet deserved nothing from the game, but the result just about sums up our season to date.
There were some positives, mainly the performances of Hird, Darikwa, Togwell, Whits & Atkinson.
A 5-3-2 or 4-4-2 approach next week will help Jack's game, we might also see Tommy back in contention, together with other players that TW & MC haven't been able to select.
This week will prove a steep learning curve for Paul Cook, his first task will be to understand which players he can/can't rely upon on a Saturday afternoon.

I know where you are with this; I don't want to agree with you but fear you may be right. Perhaps if the players respond to the new manager in the right way, then we may be able to put the sort of run together than can see us threaten to do something at the top, but if they do not respond, we're in limbo really, until the season's end. I think it'll have to be largely the players we've got who do it.
