We finished one place above the re-election zone a couple of times in the 60s; the equal of that would be a 22nd-place finish, nowadays. Off the field, of course, we have been in far more calamitous situations than we are at the moment.

Didn't we lose our first three games of 94-95 and go rock bottom but still won at Wembley and go up?

Yep. Although we had to do a club-record for games without defeat to do it.

Think we were 2nd bottom at one stage in 1990-91 prior to Hart getting the sack.
