Meant Cook from day 1, but having listened to the interview at the top of this thread I've clicked on why .

Like i have said i am sticking up for O'Donnell he did not warrant being singled out,i am not on a downer with Cook at all,if he hadn't have done that with O'Donnell i wouldn't have said anything.....

So would you rather risk the money to Accrington on another panic buy like Westcarr?

No thanks.

I'd much sooner have someone in who appears to care.

Not putting his hand on his pocket ? I think putting a fair few million into th club IS classed as putting his hand in his pocket. We have one of the best squads in the league lets see PC and his back room staff sort them out and us as fans get behind them . Come on up the blues

I'm quite poitive that Paul Cook will sort out the club and get the player motivated. He's not the manager I would have chosen but he's what we've got. I do agree with you though he should have been up in the stands today. Coupled with the reserve game on Tuesday he would have seen the majority of player on the books and been able to have made a judgement call on them.

Up in the stands my arris,he's manager for peets sake. I've had enough of TW and MC playing at it they've been too negative.

We have some very good technical players. If PC can get the workrate to a high standard, and the shape/formation to suit we wont need that many extra players.
A new hope.

I don't know but i think it had the opposite effect on RO'D,PC should have watched from the stands like he was going to and made notes then aired them out in private.....

I thought it was me.... I can't understand what a Scouser says when he's shouting!!!

I think it would be very difficult for a manager who likes to be involved on the touchline like Cook appears to to sit in the stand

and say nothing during a match

Media friendly, to the point, Like the response to the 'I'm not going again' question. Good interview. Lets get to Christmas and see where we are, If he's as good at motivating the players as he is at dealing with the press.

I just didn't like how he was having a go at O'Donnell,he should be having a go at everybody and not just one player....

He was telling OD to get shut of the ball quicker. He wasn't having a go. He had a go Thora, telling him to get his finger out and do a captains job. And anyone else who was slacking or not pushing up quickly. He had whole hearted praise for Tendayi Darikwa, I think he got it spot on.
