Before anybody else does!!!!!

I admired how he controlled midfield when he came on with his telling passes, athleticism, willingness to chase the opposition down, eagerness to get forward and join the attack, strength in the tackle etc.

Should have been the first name on the team sheet and no doubt cemented his place in the starting line-up next week by his determination to impress this afternoon with a cameo only bettered by his last opportunity against the daggers.

Yeah I really liked how he jumped out of a 50/50 tackle which lead to the penalty. Really showed us his pedigree and class. Seems RPL was right all the time

That stunning tackle he put which stopped their player playing a ball up field which didn't lead to their soft peno, yeah, stunning performance and first on the list......transfer list that is!

That was the stand out moment in his contribution today, which overshaddowed the pass to Tendi when he first came on. Lightwieght and a passenger.

The pass to Tendi being the only decent pass of the entire afternoon. But yes, he did appear to nesh the tackle, which is something you just can't do in midfield. Unless you're Whittaker, of course.

I don't come on here often but I've read a lot from RPL about how Randall is our best central midfield player. So I'm looking forward to see how he defends him as if I was manager he'd not play again.

Not true about the pass - it was ok and his only contribution.

There were two or three equally as good passes in the first half though - biggest problem being that whenever Randall, Togwell, Hird, Atkinson etc play a pass they stand still admiring it whereas when young Darwikra played a pass he moved forward to create space to receive the ball back and put a defender under pressure.

When Togwell went off and left it to Randal and Atkinson in midfield we lost focus and Davids was given the room to take them forward.

agreed, 'neshed out' and this resulted in the attack that gained the penalty.................to lightweight.

Mart - even fish knew I was being sarcastic - I'd fine him for the non-tackle and tell him to pick his cards up on Friday if somehow I could make it a sackable offence.

Shame he went off with a broken nose, looked good as usual today, definitely one of our most consistent players recently!

Ironic how alot of our more senior players could learn alot from the lad, definately gonna go for big money in the future.

At his best, MR is quality. He played a few nice passes but certainly did not control midfield. And most of the ground sighed when he neshed a 50/50 tackle big time and the penalty came soon after. Just a bit of counter perspective here

DRL has the original post gone right over your head or are you being doubly ironic?

Might not be as much as you think, think he's out of contract in the summer, isn't he?

A bit of both. I missed the sarcasm through my depression at the performance:)
