No, I've not been.

So if we're sitting in a play off / auto spot come mid Oct, you'd still want to bring in a new manager?

f2 - if I had my way he wouldn't be here next week. If he is here in Oct and we're in the play-offs (and we won't be! what do you think?) then he will have earned a longer stay.

Exactly, there wasn't any apart from Jacks quality....

It was short pass, long ball....lose ball, accrington knock about for next 2-3mins and either create a chance or we clear it for it to come back.....

We were taught a footballing lesson for the majority of the game.....we got away with it big time.........we won't always.... Glad of the win but nothing's changed. We are terrible out of possession. We can't defend from top to bottom. The best way to win a game is to not let the opposition score. We continually ship goals. The centre back pairing is the worst I've seen in years. We've let better go. no real width . Nothng left side. Talbot needs a rest IMO . Keeps getting channelled inside. Centre midfield was shocking. I'll leave young Atkinson alone. He played well Saturday. Tonight passed him by. He should've gone off much earlier. Togwell? I don't see what he brings.
Sheridan has left us an unfit , unbalanced squad which seems lacking in motivation and self belief.
Only true quality is the number 14.

You really are poor....rose tinted and everything....

I'm a Chesterfield fan with football knowledge, something either you haven't got, or don't want to admit to anything when either of your teams are poor....

Tonight we were rubbish but still won and i'm glad we did...but I can easily admit in saying we were a poor second best and didn't deserve to win....

Do you know what mate? I have a Clue what I'm talking about whereas you do not. I also don't make myself look a prik with drunken rantings on here. Now I'm happy to discuss this with you face to face if you want and then I'd like to see you tell me to watch that yellow scum. Now if you can't read and understand the tone of my post ( see I'm glad we win comment) then I can't legislate for your lack of intellect can I. Anyway I thought you'd gone to bed to play with yourself thinking about Ryan Giggs. Right little keyboard warrior aren't you.

You complete prawn. Who are you to tell me to stop going? You even openly 'support' another (? ) team??!

My post is balanced. It recognises the win but to not accept we were second best on the night and were lucky would be ridiculous frankly. Now I can see from you're previous indiscretions and inane rants that you're not he sharpest knife in the drawer so I'll take your comments within the limitations of your intelligence.

... You never will!

Consider the gap in resources between these teams!!

The gap in the quality of the two sides was vast.

Therefore, the gap in the quality of the respective coaching teams is vast.

Equally, its clear there's a huge gap in the quality of scouting.

Time for a new management team and pront,o.

agreed, as well as a new manager we need a scout who can pick up a decent keeper cover.OD is not good enough. Jack got us out of jail again last night.

I agree there are issues - but the man has 2 wins and 2 draws.

There were quite few around us gibing him a lot of stick,2wins 2 draws whoopee do! We still can't defend and our midfield was poor last night. Its still too much of the shezza influence / tactics we need a new man to work with TW now.

Rotherham have money, ambition, a Manager and a big squad but the thing that matters is they still have the same points as us and to add insult.

They keep losing at home, HOME, £23m Debt in Rotherham with only 6,600 fans there to watch.

Whose shoes would you sooner be in, Chris Turner & Tommy Wrights or the Chuckle Bothers.

If it was my shout, I'd be looking to confirm Tommy's appointment within the next 3 - 4 weeks, by which time we could well be in a play off / auto spot.

glad it's not your shout

Seriously?

You must have watched another match as I thought we were B****Y awful and robbed Accrington who were fair fair better than us....

Super Jack won that match on his own (not literally before anyone starts)....but he did...

By the way we played far better against Rochdale and scrapped a draw...

Awful performance apart from a masterclass from JL but 3 points in the bag.Major surgery still required

C'mon guys, can't we look at it on the bright side for once?

Anyone remember the champions season? We were Bunkum v accrington, yet smashed 5 past them. We then obviously got promoted that season.

We do, as a minimum, need a centre back, a left winger (that kid on trial fit) and a striker to replace the injured Richards for the time being.
