I know what you mean, but I'd rather say that it's the second game in a row where we've capitalised on a sending-off. We needed to unsettle them, and did that; enough of them lost their discipline very easily, and that pushed the game back towards us.

They were a very tidy side. That Boco seems at least one division below his ability level.

Yeah that's what I meant Stu, just worded it wrong. I reckon it would have been a much simpler game had we stuck Allott on the second we scored the third. Our midfield was crying out for him.

Yep - Atkinson had a bit of a crash course in midfield defending tonight and stuck to the task, but Allott earlier would have been a good call.

Full credit to Accrington, they were the better team and passed us off the park at times. We showed good determination, though.

Richards injury looked really bad didn't it? :(

Lots of bad crowds tonight I'd imagine.

There were. Even in league 1 there were some below 3000 crowds. Although it was poor it is still onside rally better than many others.
Onside rally? This IPad auto correct is Barmy. Can't even remember what I actually meant to say.

Maybe not deserved but great determination to come back twice after being pegged back. Hopefully few of the stayaways will take note of 7 goals in 4 days and start to return.

Lesters first goal...wont see a better goal around Europe all week.

The turning point tonight seemed to be when our third goal was disallowed, if we had gone 3 nil up it would have been game over, instead they immediately scored and then suddenly it was game on.

Poor passing really let us down especially when we were knocking it into open spaces rather than to feet. If there isn't an easy pass then the player should run with the ball and make the other team come and get it rather than wasting the ball with a poor pass.

R od had a sticky game. Chocolate fingers for first goal and poss could have done better for 2nd. They accy reminded me of mk dons last season. Westcarr was poor, talbot better when switched to left. Great work by tendai for 3rd. Frustrating but entertaining game. Lester mom then forbes.

Almost certain that it wasn't a foul either, the players blocking the keeper off were his own players!

I thought he was unlucky as he was at full stretch and the ball just jumped up over his out stretched hand. Maybe not then.
Besides, wasn't that the one where Richards yet again failed to control an easy ball and in letting it go lose they hit us? It's really got to start to stick with him otherwise we have no outlet whatsoever!

I thought it was a bit harsh; one was definitely an Accy player. 1+1 I think it was.
Probably evens itself up as I thought Richards clearly pushed a defender out of the way to allow the ball to come through to Jack for his winner.
EDIT: It must have been the third goal as Forbes hit the winner.

And for the fourth; it was him who waved Forbes forward!

Stanley played some good stuff tonight, but some atrocious keeping by O'Donnell nearly handed it to them on a plate. We've signed another useless flapper again.Still not convinced that TW is the man for the job, and judging by tonight's aweful attendance it looks as though a lot who stayed at home tonight think the same. a few around us were on his back when we were level and looked like losing. Full marks to their coach who instructed his man to kick the ball into touch when Ricco went down in the last minute.Well done Stanley you deserved a share of the spoils. But well done to Town for a fighting performance with Jack and Forbes outstanding.

The biggest worry is our defence. We won't keep a clean sheet all season with trotts and hird in there!

I don't think he's done anything like what a lot are making out on here. He was better on Saturday than what he's been in the rest of the season, but even then I don't think he was anything great; though believe me.. I'm far from happy that our main striker is injured (though I wouldn't have signed him in the first place ;) )

We have a lot wrong with our squad, but the one that HAS to be addressed first as our two centre backs are costing us goals EVERY SINGLE GAME
I never rated Trottman last year and thought Holden was better, but Hird is even worse than Trottman! We desperately have to bring in another big strong central defender in on loan as we can't keep hoping the opposition go down to ten men every week and we score three goals to win a game!
