We've just made them look like barcelona. Not fit enough when they lost the ball they harrased we just just sat back. I can't us ever keeping a clean sheet. Never seen a game with so few good chances end up 4-3

I'd go as far as to say the only other league two side to play against us in such a manner was Crewe (first half) two seasons ago! That season or this, I've not seen such passing, pace and movement. We really were chasing shadows for long periods of the game.

Good football but lacked quality up front to take advantage?

I don't mind beating sides that I think look pretty handy. Much better than losing to them.
Yep, for all their pretty football they still lost.

W - understatement "look pretty handy" - and missing the point as always. Any remotely neutral person would see the gap in quality and coaching tonight.

On the plus side, we successfully got in front on 3 occasions and Jack was superb.
On the down side, I'd have taken Richards off for MA when we got the 3rd to try and shore up the points, in the end we went on to win anyway but I do hope the injury to Richards isn't as bad as it looked.

Yes their defending was actually worse than ours! Thought they were better in almost all areas of the pitch apart from defence. What is a worry is that every side seems to be out playing us. We do give the ball away very cheaply and we didn't put their midfield under as much pressure as we should have. It has to come down to the coaching, doesn't it?

No they wern't. Their defence was rubbish. The goals they conceded were even worse than ours, which took some doing.
Lovely footballers going forward though. Their third was majestic.

You cannot even admit when your/our team has been played off the park. Truly sad.

We didn't, not by any stretch of the imagination. We were given a football lesson by a team that plays in front of crowds a quarter our size.
After 15 minutes, by which time we were two in front and had started to lose the initiative, something needed changing. After 30 minutes it was just a question of how many they'd get. It was painfully obvious that three were playing 5 in midfield, and all their five were a lot sharper than any of our three. At that point Mark Allott should have been brought on and Westcarr removed, sacrificing the width which Westcarr wasn't providing for a bit nearer parity in numbers in midfield.
We went on to win despite being outplayed, but we won for one reason - Jack Lester.
Acrington should feel very hard done by, and Tommy Wright needs to think about the opposition - it was even said on here that Accrington played with a lot of classy midfielders. He was caught napping and taken to the cleaners.
Not helped by another totally inept peformance from Westcarr.
