Whatever plaudits we're throwing at Accrington for all their workrate and passing we're still winning...

Without a doubt, and tonight still leaves more questions than answers about the long term suitability of TW and MC, despite their 2+2 record.

Serious concerns about us defensively, yet I think it's more deep rooted than a poor CB pairing. It needs sorting quick, even though as we are I still think we've enough to go up, with what we have at the other end. Not ideal though by any means.

Aside from that, a poor turn out tonight, opposition and midweek taken into consideration.

EDIT- Richards off on a stretcher as I post. Not good. Hasn't he had knee problems before signing for us?

Lost Bowery and Richards in 2 weeks!!!

Thats an empty looking basket all of a sudden.

Lester and Westcarr it is then, with Boden/Hazel from the bench
A new hope.

Yet as grim as that seems for us, most L2 gaffers would give their left böllock for that first choice pairing.

Must say I rather enjoyed that, very good game of football. Gotta give praise where its due to Accy they were superb in spells and by far the best passing team to grace our turf this season. Bit worrying that for the second game in a row we have had to rely on a sending off but that doesn't take away the fact we showed resilience to score again after blowing leads twice. Winning becomes a habit, don't care how you get them. A well earned 3 points but well played Stanley.

Phew. That was a tough one.

All i can say is, it was worth the admission money alone for Jack's first. Absolutely magical.

I know what you mean, but I'd rather say that it's the second game in a row where we've capitalised on a sending-off. We needed to unsettle them, and did that; enough of them lost their discipline very easily, and that pushed the game back towards us.

They were a very tidy side. That Boco seems at least one division below his ability level.
