The match yesterday was flat in the stands simply because there is a friggin great question mark over the top of the club. What we need now is clarification one way or the other.
Is it gonna be Tommy or is it gonna be somebody else?
Has JS left the club officially yet?
Will the new boss get any help with new signings i.e. loans or funds?
12 years ago this very club that you own/run was dependant on us supporters to keep running, only up until we moved to the new ground this very club needed us just to survive.
We deserve your respect. We deserve to know just what your doing with our club.
I'm not talking about how much money or anything like that but just to stop ignoring the fact that the supporters don't need to know owt cos we have been here a hell of a lot longer than you have, we have the club in our hearts. You have it in your pockets.
Don't get me wrong, I am gratefull that we are now able to bring money into the club by other means, are looking like a viable business, but its not right that you carry on ignoring us.

Rather than putting it on a fans forum?
Just a suggestion, feel free to ignore it.

Really - some people take things far too seriously.
Is it really that much of a life changer?
I get so mad and frustrated at times when we lose, or play like poo, but by Sunday morning my mind has usually turned to other stuff.
Maybe I'm being too judgmental - I just don't get it

Irrelevant. What we need is a few more games like Saturday when we were well on top for 70 minutes. A couple more wins like that and your questions will be answered. Why make hasty decisions?
The problem with football today is that people demand instant gratification. Hasty decisions are seldom the right decisions.

Send a letter to the club. I think you'll find that a chris turner will answer it. He has impressed me with his frankness.
For what it's worth, my opinion is the current situation is pretty clear. Im not sure how much of that is me searching for the details.
The way i see it, the club want to give TW every chance to succeed. 2 wins and two draws is not a bad start. The no loan rule has already been revisited and TW has been told he can get players in. The challenge is we cannot find the winger that TW is looking for just now.
Substance wise, the team could play better. We've had some tough luck with injuries and that's not helped.
I can understand what you are saying. There is always an opportunity for the Club to communicate better with the fans.
I don't expect we'll see a definite decision on TW this side of Xmas. If he suddenly goes on a lonf run of 7 or 8 wins, that may soon change.

JS will remain employed by the club on indefinate gardening leave. He will continue to pick up his pay check and win bonus's and possible promotion bonus etc as per his contract until his contract expires.
If he has any ambition to remain in the game he will apply for other positions and if he get's one, he will then have to tender his resignation.

I wouldn't think it's a very common occurrence. I can't think of another example at the moment - although of course we might not hear about all such instances.
Being put on 'gardening leave' is generally interpreted as a sign of at least one from incompetence, behavioural and/or mental problems, a suspicion of fraud or some other serious disciplinary issue etc. Of course, none of these might be relevant to the case of JS (and I have no inside knowledge, so I'm certainly not going to speculate or make any unsubstantiated allegations), but mud sticks and a potential employer would certainly be suspicious of what's been going on, regardless of whether or not that's actually fair to the candidate.

it's also done so the employer is not in breach of contract

it's very common, indeed some clubs ave been known to have several e managers on gardening leave at the same time

Locally Gary Megson and (I think) Steve Cotterill are examples

You mean like decisions made three games into a new season?
