Do me a favour if you can keep updating that would be good as the ECB app is not updating (fitting for the ECB to be honest) and I'm hard at work

Will see what I can do

Again, yet more bias from a Look North reporter supposedly covering our region.

Tanya Arnold ‏@tanyaarnold
Yorkshire going well here, but need Hampshire to skittle out Derbyshire...

http://www.espncrici...tch/542620.html

Cricinfo i think have a mobile website so should work.

If not...they're 10-0 from 3.5.

Speaking as one who enjoyed watching Richards and Greenidge in their pomp as a kid, I'd be happy for Hampshire to lose just to see Ms Arnold present the news to "Look a bit further North than Dronfield" viewers.

Sorry for my naviety but if Derbyshire win do they win the title or with Yorkshire looking like being big winners does that affect the outcome. I like watching cricket but don't understand the points system.

Derbyshire and Yorkshire are on the same amount of points, if Derbyshire win and Yorkshire win, then Derbyshire win the title on virtue of winning more matches than Yorkshire. 6 to 5.

Dont worry about not understanding it....i have to check the bonus points system every game!! Basically its now a case of if we win we win the title, if we draw and Yorkshire win then they win it, if we both draw (unlikely!) then we win it. If we are tied at the top then our additional win over the season compared to Yorkshire wins it for us.

Wainwright could run him close....Yorkshire cast off who has taken plenty of wickets and scored runs to.

Hasn't Wainwright bowled more overs than any other bowler in div2?

However considering bowling v batting and I think Tony is the numebr two wicket taker behind Balcombe - it has to be Tony.

I have made my first new years resolution to go and see the team next year more often than I have the last few years.

Unless the weather is gorgeous, the county ground is still a bit bleak for me but might be worth arranging to meet for the inevitable midweek Yorkshire county match at Queens Park next year? If anyone else is up for it?
