I got cocky thinking i was past the point it mattered! :angry That said it was still a marvellous 50 whether he got out or not!! ;) The main problem was i started the commentary stream and it was probably the 3rd or 4th ball i heard!! Turned it straight off!!

Kent lost Rob Key early on by the way whilst Yakshire have picked up an early wicket.

Time for Redfern to blossom later, he's really come on leaps and bounds this season, have been well impressed with him in the longer form of the game, not so much in the shorter format, that's not his strength.

Now who is a jinx.... ;)

42.5 Ervine to Redfern, OUT
DJ Redfern c Dawson b Ervine 4 (0m 12b 1x4 0x6) SR: 33.33

More or less lunch in the three games that matter....annoyingly Yakshire are going well whilst Kent are recovering from the early loss of Rob Key!!

Hampshire 272 v Derbyshire 164/5
Yorkshire 312 v Essex 32/3
Glamorgan 390 v Kent 55/1

Good for yakshire currently, whilst they make early inroads into the Essex batting lineup it's raining at both Derby and Cardiff.

Rain at Derby now. Not really in our interests at this stage.

Not had a good two days personally going home at lunch to watch....yesterday all i got was Vince and Ervine plundering runs then today i got to see it again as they ran highlights of yesterday cos it was raining!!

As it stands its looking good for Yakshire for the title but bad for Kent in terms of promotion unless they manage to convince the Glamorgan skipper to contrive a result.

Looks like Essex have thrown over already with 177 all out and dont worry there will be a contrived dec at Cardiff.

Meanwhile at Derby we will have to fight for every point

Back onto cricket - I am paying more attention to the Glamorgan performance - they are 124 and counting for the 9th wicket and it looks like the Kent spinners have taken a few. Step forward Robert Croft.

I am happy to admit my shortcomings and that 9 times out of 10 I get it wrong.

Not this time!!!

Come on you welsh wizard, finish them off tomorrow and lets then play with no pressure!

Tremendous from Glamorgan. If they finish the job tomorrow (or being selfish Friday morning) then the Derbyshire lads owe them a beer!

Mark Nicholas stood next to me at Trent Bridge recording a piece for Channel 5. If it had been live and I'd been more beered up I'd have been sorely tempted to call him a c**t on live TV.

PS Vince out, great wicket.

I'd have thrown £100 in the way of Ashgate Hospice to see you do that, if we'd known you'd have had the opportunity.
Mug?? Being wrong never gets boring!

Looking great by the way for tomorrow.

Probably the first time in my life I've ever got behind a team that plays in Cardiff!!!

I couldn't give a monkeys if Porkshire pip us to the title, as long as we go up!!

I don't wanna get carried away, but it's gonna take something monumental from Kent and a disastrous Glamorgan capitulation to stop us now.
Mug?? Being wrong never gets boring!

It was the intro to the highlights. We were sat on the top tier and he slithered up beside me with his crew. He looked a right misery off camera too, the slimy ponce.

Kent lose then it's done and dusted in terms of promotion, just the title to play for with the welsh lot having done both teams a big favour.

As for mark Nicholas...let's see if we can ask him what he thinks I we're in div 1 and hampshire are in div 2.
