Thats a big strike for us....get them wrapped up quickly now. Kent starting to get back in the game against Glamorgan but Yorkshire not doing so well.
Tea - Yorkshire 190/6
Azeem Rafiq 7* AJ Hodd 12* RN ten Doeschate 2-0-10-0 TR Craddock 5-1-21-0
Glamorgan v Kent at Cardiff - Sep 11-14, 2012
Glamorgan 243/6
J Allenby 41* GG Wagg 6* CE Shreck 17-1-89-2 JC Tredwell 24-6-54-3
Could do with ex Derbyshire lad Wagg doing us a favour and producing one of those knocks he did from time to time.

I used to play for Morton in the mid 90s when I lived in Derbyshire in my late teens and early twenties, as well as Alfreton Under 15 for a season and Teversal Under 18s.
I believe a lot has changed re the league structure since then.

I've been playing for Clay Cross since the mid 90s. We were in the bottom division of the Derbyshire County League back then and we peaked in Division 1 for a few years so played most clubs etc over the years. Had many a good game v Morton 1sts and 2nds over the years but they were probably a bit later on than the mid 90s. If you did play against us i would have been the one opening the bowling.
Main change in the league structure was first the introduction of the Derbyshire Premier League as a separate entity outside of the County League. They also then started regionalising the lower divisions as more teams started to have 3rd and 4th teams with loads of kids in which has worked well to be honest.

I've never played v Clay Cross as we were never in the same division during my time at Morton.

I work in Leeds and the banter's flying a bit in the office. Yorkshire haven't made the best of starts. Long way to go yet though. We're going to have to bat well, and you only have to look at the bonus points split to see that hasn't been our strong point this season.
Westbars is a Chesterfield Barbs lad if i remember right.

My brother and I played for Sheepbridge from 1996 until our demise/merger with Chesterfield Barbarians. It's still sad how we were killed off but the aim is that the 'new' Barbs go on to become a big club locally. They took Sheepbridge's hard won County League place and the aim is to shift the seconds across ASAP. A lottery grant for a new pavilion at Walton Dam will be a massive boost.

I have a suspicion a certain R Croft could have a big say in the outcome of the season in his last ever game.
i would say that things are pretty level at Derby as our tail is as strong as the middle order. However what are Wes' last ten knocks for Derbyshire?

Time for Redfern to blossom later, he's really come on leaps and bounds this season, have been well impressed with him in the longer form of the game, not so much in the shorter format, that's not his strength.

Jon - appreciate it isn't cricket related so will keep it short - have you got NFL tickets for Wembley? I picked mine up on Monday as some went on resale.

Back onto cricket - I am paying more attention to the Glamorgan performance - they are 124 and counting for the 9th wicket and it looks like the Kent spinners have taken a few. Step forward Robert Croft.

You jinxed that partnership....just lost their 9th wicket after adding 128. Now 389-9, Kent will have got full bowling points.
Yorkshire 312 all out so 3 of the possible 5 bowling points.
