What a performance 13 MOTMs today I don't know about Kovacs crying, I could have shed a tear

We needed a big performance today and we got it, it's just a shame the result didn't go our way, we certainly deserved it.
Performances like that make you proud to be a Spireite.

Totally agree; I've not been watching Town for many years like some, but I can't imagine a Chesterfield team has often, if ever, prooduced such a superb, skilful, fighting performance as that. IF these lads can carry on like this, we are not yet out of contention for the play-offs. I know it's asking a lot, but with great support like today (apart from the disgraceful substitution boos), they might just be able to pull it off.

totally agree. I felt so proud today when we scored, and even though we lost we still played a great game and like u said, we deserved 3 points today, we didn't deserve to lose. At least we only lost by a gap of one goal.
Definitely feeling proud to be a chesterfield supporter tonight and so should all other fans.

It's just a shame that such a wonderful performance is overshadowed by the boo-boys and, in particular, the refereeing. I honestly think that without that ridiculous sending off the score would have been about 4-1 - and that's giving them the benefit of the doubt.
Still, if we have to lose I'm glad it was Southend. They stuck by us in the Brown years and came today to make a match of it rather than just kill off the game.

Cracking point H. I've seen Hally play 'up front' at Bristol City and again today and he looks a totally different player, and more to the point, we look a totally different team.
As I said earlier this week, losing the Chief is a big blow, but as a result, we might get out of the easy ball option to the big man.

Definately Sophs, there lads appreciated the fact that even though we looked down and out at 2-1 (I thought we were going to get battered then...) we fought back.
All our lads deserved the win today.
