The reception was terrible for the lad whoever it was aimed at!!!
Look at the substitution with a clear mind. Firstly, when you are a man down, to play with a degree of stability and to create opertunities in attack you need to play with two banks of four with a target man up front. The player that is on his own in attack has to hold the ball up and bring in other players as they catch up with play.
There is nobody as bigger fan of Larks than me but holding the ball up is'nt his best part of his game and not as physical as he needs to be in these areas as the attacking focal point. He needs a partner to be at his most effective. Also he is'nt as good coming from midfield to link up.
So really the only option Roy had was to bring Caleb on for Larkin and Heath has'nt the experence to cope with this type of situation. And I think it almost worked.
The only mistake that was made was the delaying of the second substitution. It should have been made as soon as we scored our third.

Presumably you mean the decisions that brought on Folan whose superb burst of pace, strength and skill set up Niven's goal, and also got us into the lead with 10 men against the league leaders who only just managed to beat us with the aid of terrible refereeing decisions? Your football appreciation and understanding is non-existent, couldn't you comment on Winter Olympics snowboarding or something instead and give us all a break?

At the end of the day, if Folan hadn't come on, maybe we wouldn't have got the goal.
Personally, I thought he played well today

It took a lot of character to come on in the face of the know-nothings booing him (and that's what it was, spin it how you like) and have the confidence to run at a defence in the way that brought the goal. Whatever your opinion of him, to boo a Town player at that stage of such a game is just pathetic. Half-wits.

So therefore if it was booing because it was "an appalling decision" to bring Folan on, then you were obviously booing Folan..Think about it for a minute before you answer.
