- Why does McFarland seem to take off our best players in the game. Eg, Larkin/Hurst today and wednesday just for example but he seems to do this every game
- On a better note it was a good game today and the lads gave it their all

Wednesday, you could maybe say he was saving Hurst for today, however taking him off today just baffles me! Speaking to a Donny fan they asked me why the hell we took Hurst off he was our best player of the night because their right back couldnt keep up!
Allott is a good player think he breaks the opposition play up well and creates space for others!

Scored a screamer i believe, forced the defender to give the corner away for goal one!

Im not saying he is a bad player, it just seems strange that he is very rarely rested and it is always someone else whose taken off

I agree, Allot and Hall never rested - Larkin always the first one to be subbed.
My subs today would have been Blathers for O'hare as soon as Kovacs was sent off and Folan on for Hall, but I was crap many years ago in Division 10 in the Sunday league and never played for Derby, the league champions or England so what the f do I know?

During the 10 minutes that Allott played right back, Sarfend had about 4 chances all created down their left side, including the corner that they scored from. Whenever something like this goes against us, like it did against Blackpool, the golden rule is to get a good solid back four in place as soon as possible. Blatherwick should have been on straight after the pen, with Picken at right back. After praising O'Hare for his best ever 45 minutes in a blue shirt, I thought he was at directly at fault with their first and third goals. He was dozing.

First goal was down to Barry Roche not Alan O'Hare

Yes it was, Roche's indecision and subsequent out of positioning led them to pass the ball around him for the shot that Kovacs "handled"

Folan did brilliant when he came on ,he always gives 110% but he lacks the goals.
I would have taken off Hall instead of Hurst, but I think Roy left it too late with Blathers.
What a superb performance today but Barry and Alan have got to concentrate more and cut out their costly mistakes.
The players must take heart from today#s battling performance and its up to us the fans to get behind the team next week at rotherham in massive numbers to get our promotion push back on track.
Peak said that two directors are coming on air next week to discuss the financial situation (are we in trouble again or are they about to spend some money on a striker?).
