excellent first half then an abysmal second, cost us 1 or 3 points, sack the cnut. Kovacs will win an appeal, but the points are lost. How many games do we have to suffer this.

Will win the appeal? If he handled the ball on the line how could the ref do anything but send him off?

None of their players or fans appealed for the decision which tells you everything and Lee Richardson has just been on radio to say that the video clearly shows that the ball hit his shoulder.

Anyway, it wasn't just that decision that cost us, EVERY decision went their way. What about all the handballs they did? Their 4th goal also came when their player clearly handballed it and he waved play on.

He was an absolute disgrace and is right up there with Fred Graham and I never thought anyone would ever get close to him.

At least we saw why Southend are top today and it certainly isn't through footballing ability because I thought they were shocking. If they are top and go up then it shows just how poor this league is and also proves how wrong those who think we are doing well to just be 7th are because does anyone think that we are not a much better side than them? They were garbage. Take Eastwood out of their team and they have nothing.

At the time i was dumbfounded it was never arm to ball then Mr Deadman compound the peno decision by sending Janos off.

Apparently the match video actually shows the ball hit Janos high up in the shoulder area so appeal would seem likely, but it wont bring us the points that todays display deserved thanks to Mr Deadman.

????

If you read my post clearer you will see that I said we can see why they are top of the league because they had luck and the referees decisions.

Do you think they were good? I don't I think they were absolute garbage and their big centre half was a complete donkey.

Do you think they are better than us?

Fair enough if it hit his shoulder he will win the appeal, I have to be honest though my first reaction in the ground was that he was going to be sent off.

No. They weren't better than us today, but I don't know, you don't know and most Spireite fans don't know how they played last week, the week before that and the week before that and we don't know how they will play next week, or the week after that. You can't judge a team on one/two games. You really can't belive they are top of league due to luck can you?

Not really, because like I said, this is one game out of 48. As for the ref, its becoming the norm these days.

CAN'T CFC DO SOMETHING ABOUT THESE F/WIT REFS?
QUITE SURE THE LIKES OF FERGUSON, WENGER & THAT CNUT FROM CHELSEA WOULDN'T JUST STAY QUIET- AND THEY GET THE ''BEST'' REFS
I COLLECT STUFF FROM THE 69-70 SEASON & IN THOSE DAYS, BOTH TEAMS PUT REPORTS/COMMENTS & MARKS OUT OF FIVE FOR OFFICIALS. IS THAT STILL THE CASE???
WOULD BE BETTER IF THIS IS THE CASE, THAT TOWN GAVE MARKS OF -5 OUT OF 5 RATHER THAN ROY/LEE 'SPOUTING OUT' & GETTING CHARGED BY THE F.A FOR STATING THE 'BLEEDING OBVIOUS' AND BANNED FROM THE TOUCHLINE FOR 3 YRS OR WHATEVER.

PLAYERS/MANAGERS/FANS GET PUNISHED QUICKLY FOR WRONG-DOINGS, HALF THE TIME IT'S OFFICIALS LIKE EVERY REF WE'VE HAD AT HOME THIS YEAR, THAT CAUSE THE RESPONSE AND THE PROBLEMS

AS PER EARLIER POSTING, THEM BEING TOP CLEARLY SHOWS HOW CR+P THE STANDARD OF THIS LEAGUE IS . WE COULD BE WAY & ABOVE SEVENTH

Not really, because like I said, this is one game out of 48.

I can only find 46 on my fixture list am I missing two?

Have to agree. The ref was a joke.

Hope he had a safe journey back in the Southend Bus!!
